I signed up with a man that seemed really nice his name is Hilton. I was told for this amazing price not only would I get to go to the Dundas gym I would get to go to all of there locations in the Toronto area.
Well since it was under construction I decided to check another one out (111 Wellington Street West) because of the classes they had available during the time I was.
First time went there, great we had a lot of fun, nice location. The next time we went we were stopped at the door and told that we didn't have access to that location. I explained that it must be a mistake and we were here last time. She showed me the screen and let me know I would have to go back to speak with Hilton.
The next day i called and went down to talk to him because I thought that there must have been a click of a button missed. When I got there he said there was no mistake and he must have forgotten to tell me that I had all access to only the basic ones and not the premium ones.
I was upset and was about to cancel when he said that the gym would be up and running by the time oct came and he could up grade my account until then for free as long as I came back and canceled it before Oct 1st and I wouldn't be charged.
Well today is the night before Oct 1st and so I went there to take it off so I wouldn't be charged.
The first person i spoke with told me to come back tomorrow because he wasn't there. I said no I have to have someone cancel it today because I don't want to be charged. He brought me to another man that I can't recall his name at the moment.
I told him what I was wanting to do and he tried to pass it off again saying there was nothing he could do and I would have to come back tomorrow to talk to Hilton. I said no I want this dealt with now before I was charged. He then said well it doesn't matter because its to late I will be having the charge go threw tomorrow and there was nothing he could do. I explained again that I was told by Hilton that if I canceled it any time before Oct I would be fine. He then said well if I have nothing in writing tough s**t basically. Then he repeated again about having to cancel 14 days prior. He was so unbelievably rude I couldn't believe he would be working with people.
I was so discussed with how they treated me I want everyone to know that they will be nice to sign you up, yet after that no one is wanting to help you. Hilton miss informed me 2 times and they basically told me I was up the creek. If I can cancel my membership I am going to. They weren't looking to credit my account the difference or fix their mistake one of their employes made. Thats not expectable
