FAIRBANKS WAS SOLD OUR MORTGAGE LAST FALL BY HOUSEHOLD FINANCE,
WHO GOT IT FROM FIELDSTONE MORTGAGE
WHO GOT IT FROM AMARILLO NATIONAL BANK, WHO EVEN CHARGED US A $2160.00 DOLLAR BROKERAGE FEE.
OUR PROBLEMS STARTED WITH FORCED INSURANCE PLACED ON OUR LOAN EVEN THOUGH OUR INSURANCE AGENT HAS FAXED THEM PROOF OF INSURANCE SEVERAL TIMES.
THEN THEY CHARGED ME A LATE FEE BECAUSE THEY SAY I DON'T HAVE A GRACE PERIOD.
THEY SAY We Signed a form stating we didn't want a grace period ! THAT IS REDICULOUS!!!!!!!!
I have requested that they send me a copy so that i can verify the signatures.
THEY TOLD ME THATS MY PROBLEM.
When I told them that our payment coupon states i have until the 16th of the month
They TOLD ME TO DISREGARD WHAT IT SAYS , THAT IT ISN'T MEANT FOR ME!!!!!!
then on FEBRUARY 24th we recieved a letter stating that because we had filed for BANKRUPTCY THEY COULD NO LONGER SEND US OUR STATEMENTS.
We called and they hung up on us.
WE CAN'T GET ANY ONE TO ANSWER OUR QUESTIONS OR LISTEN TO US THAT WE NEVER FILED BANKRUPCTY.
Yesterday WE RECIEVED A FORCLOSURE NOTICE and it even had the name of another woman we never heard of including our own.
WE HAVE NO IDEA WHO THE PERSON FROM SPRING BRANCH TEXAS IS I finally got through last night AND IT TURN OUT THEY HAVE MY HUSBANDS SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER WRONG and I was told I HAVE TO PRUBE WHO WE ARE BEFORE THEY CAN CORRECT THE PROBLEM.
In the meantime THEY HAVE not AND CAN NOT ACCEPT OUR PAYMENT THAT WAS SENT TO OUR ORIGINAL ADDRESS WHERE WE ARE SUPPOSE TO MAKE OUR PAYMENTS .
I had mailed our payment before we recieved the letter of Feb, 24 telling us to mail our payments to a diffrent address with a diffrent amount. .
I have been to three lawyers, the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU , given copies to three of our local legilators to take back to AUSTIN and see that our ATTORNEY GENERAL is made aware of this very corrupt business.
i have written the attorney general, called in to a local talk radio program , sent a e-mail to daveramsey.com , a financial nationwide radio program, and sent consumer suggestions to several of the people who have written in to this very informative web site ,
we need to stand up and have our voices heard loud and clear that we are not going to sit back and let this terrorist win in this war of wits and corruption!!!!!!!!!!!!

THisis to give you hope to keep fightingback!!! Our elected leaders are listeningELECTeD LEADERS ARE LISTENING. March 17 I wrote that I had given copies of the Rip-Off Report To STATE REP.JOHN SMITHEE. I RECIEVED A HAND WRITTEN NOTE FROM HIM YESTERDAY TELLING ME THANK YOU FOR BRINGING OUR COMPLAINTS OF FAIRBANKS TO HIS ATTENTION AND HAD FORWARDED IT TO TEXAS ATTORNEY GENERAL JOHN ABBOTT. I ALSO RECIEVED A REPLY TO AN E-MAIL FROM SENATOR KAY BAILY HUTCHINSON . Keep calling, e-mailing and writing to all your STATE AND US SENATORS ,REPRESANTATIVES and your local LEGISLATORS and any ELECTED OFFICIALS. LETS KEEP BOMBARDING THEM WITH OUR COMPLAINTS. We can do ourOWN "Shock and Awe" campain!!!

MARCH 14 was a sort of victory for us .We learned that they had finally corrected my husbands ss# and had finally taken the forced insurance off, but they put the one month insurance payment in the escrow account we are not suppose to have .
They owe us 6 months payments and only paid into the escrow for 1 month. They are still claiming we don't have A GRACE PERIOD. I think the reason they finally backed off the bankruptcy and the forcloure was my conversation March 12 with MR. JOE LYONS in the bankruptcy dept.
He was so rude and ugly TO ME THAT I TOLD HIM I HAD ALREADY GIVEN HIS NAME TO OUR STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL and that they were tracking my account. The two days later they got things sraightened out, Wonder why??????? mmmmmmm I STILL DON'T TRUST THEM AND I WILL NEVER DROP MY GUARD!
A VERY NICE GENTELMAN, WITH FORCLURE NOTICE IN HAND , came into our office Thursday March 13. ONE OF THE LAWYERS WE SAW GAVE HIM OUR NAME. He asked for our help and we were more than willing to help him. his story is a lot worse than ours . He is a farmer with a sick wife and a mother in a nursing home. HE WAS AFRAID TO TELL HIS FAMILY BUT WE CONVINCED HIM to share his problem with Fairbanks WITH HIS SON.We had him call the HUD INSPECTOR GENERAL HOTLINE 1-800-347-3735 AND JOIN THE HUNDREDS THAT HAVE BEEN CALLING THEM WITH COMPLAINTS. His eyes welled up with tears as he spoke to them because they listened to his story as they had listened to mine. If anyone out there hasn't called the hotline please do as the are investigating our evil doers , FAIRBANKS !!
WE WILL CONTINUE TO HELP ALL OF YOU BECAUSE I STILL DON'T HAVE IT IN WRITING THAT WE ARE FREE OF PROBLEMS WITH THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY AND WILL ADD OUR VOICES WITH ALL OF YOURS. I HAVE WRITTEN A LARGE NEWSPAPER IN OHIO NAMED THE BLADE AND ASKED THEM TO TAKE UP THE FIGHT IN OHIO. I had a lady from OHIO e mail me asking for my helpand another one from Kentucky. IF EVERYBODY WRITES THEIR LOCAL PAPER IMAGINE HOW MANY MANY PEOPLE WE CAN REACH!EITHER THOSE IN TROUBLE OR THOSE THAT CAN HELP US .
I WROTE THIS UPDATE TO GIVE YOU HOPE NOT TO GIVE UP.
