I received this letter from FBNRC in regards to my DBA expiring, my wife which is the bill payer in this household wrote a check out for 125.00 dollars and paid it. I then received my Fictitous buisiness license renewal statement from San Bernardino County Clerk Recorder. I am a victim of this fraudulent thievery of an individual who has researched DBA records and have fallin into thier web of deception. If anybody receives any information in regards to your Fictitous business name, check for the county you filed and recorded in, If not you are putting your money and check account info into the wrong hands. I do not know what Ripoff Report can do for me or the others that have been ripped off by these thieves but hopefully something will happen.

Unfortunately, I fell for that scam too. If you read the small (very small) print on the back it does say that this "Co" is not affiliated with any government agency. Aside from that, here's what I did and got my money back: Call the phone number listed on the paperwork and leave a message (no live person will answer), that you have been scammed and will file a report with the BBB and State Attorney General unless someone phones you back asap! Trust me, you'll get a call back and when you do, stick to your guns! Don't let the guy intimidate you....let him know that unless you get the full $125 back, you will follow through with reporting them to both agency's. I did that and got a full refund that week.
Good luck!
