we were shocked when we read complaint against floyd cove.  in the past, all comments have been positive

and gave accolades to the super size plants provided.  We have always received huge plants and generous

extras.

We have bought daylilies from Pierces since 2008 and have catalogs thru 2014.  We looked at daylily

pictures from 2008 thru 2014.  It is amazing to see the progress in diversity, color, size, plant habit and

even triple edges.  All accomplished by Guy Pierce, the premier hybridizer of today.  We should know as

we have hybridized hemerocallis for 30 years,

To expose the Pierce's private business and life tothe public is despicable.  We were raised in the south

and our families taught us: "If you can't say something nice about about someone, keep your mouth

shut,"  Perhaps the writer of this complaint should obey this advic

I do not live on the property, before you make a comment know the facts your wife is an employee of the Floyd Cove and previous employee of the Stamiles.  Since she is paid 25 dollars an hour I understand you wanting to defend the Pierces.  I have personally seen the videos and pictures of what the Pierce are doing and know they are breaking the confidential agreement between the parties when you or your wife are not there.  So mind your own business and continue playing movie producer.   By the way Frank know it all, the daylily can be planted upside down and it will still find the sun no rocket science here. I can not wait to see if Stamiles come back to the Daylily business.  WE MISS THE REAL DAYLILY KING........STAMILE

Everyday we hear of crazy people doing evil things on the news.

This case is no different.

The author of this evil report is actually the owner of the land that is leased by Floyd Cove,

however, he is to much a coward to actually say who he is.

This man has been harrassing the owners of the nursery for some time now.

He is insane, evil and ruthless. This is a picture of a sign that he recently posted on the front entrance of their business.

I think this shows just how evil and childish he is.

The owners of this nursery are good folks who are just trying to farm without being taunted.

They are good, hardworking, upstanding people.

I have purchased plants from this nursery for well over five years now and have always been treated with respect. 

The plants were healthy and thrived once planted in my own garden.  I am wondering why this report does not mention any purchases past or present of which this individual could complain about.  It seems to be just an outrageous attack without any basis or validation.   

 I certainly hope the Pierces can rise above this triviality and continue to provide their loyal customers with quality plants.  The individual writing this report does not seem to have any concrete knowledge of the production of daylilies as a crop.

 Overhead expenses are high especially for the size of the operation in question.  labor expenses are also a factor to be considered.  I have visited this nursery only once and was welcomed with the utmost hospitality and graciousness.  I cannot imagine these two people to be anything other than honorable especially with their business transactions.  I also know of the Stamile family having purchased flowers from them as well before the Pierces accepted their offer to sell to them.    

In my opinion there must be something else going on and sites like this one while offering access to our First Ammendment rights have the downside of not providing credible evidence to a most disturbing and quite possible slander of a hard working couple.  It is unfortunate. In the meantime I will continue to make my purchases at Floyd Cove based on my own previous experiences.
