Went to this company out of desperation trying to work with my mortgage co. in July 2011. Agreed to have them find a local lawyer for me to help with my situation for $1000 per month of which $250 for the lawyer, a portion for "overhead" and rest to be held in escrow to fight my case with the mortgage co. In the first 4 months I was given 2 different lawyers who both backed out. In Nov 2011 I met with an attorney I felt had my best interest at heart (a hard thing to find). FRF credited me for 3 months as it had taken that long to find a attorney. The attorney reviewed my documents in Nov 2011 and we came up with a long term strategy. I made all payments on time to FRF until Aug of 2012 when I recieved notice from my attorney that he would no longer represent me due to not having been paid by FRF for 4 months. After many apologies from FRF and having made up the payments to the attorney, I recieved notice from the attorney that he was "back on board" FRF credited me again for the month of August. September was fine but in Oct 2012 the same thing not paying my attorney started again. After speaking with the attorney it was decided that the business practices of FRF were not acceptable in addition to many of the people I had worked with thru FRF had left the company due to FRF's business practices. I wrote FRF and asked that my monies in escrow be returned to me minus attorney fees as NOTHING had been done on my case since the initial review of my documents. This started 3 weeks of not returning phone calls, emails etc. Every time I could get Debra Crawford on the phone there were "excuses" and her trying to "fix it" after repeatedly telling Debra Crawford that I was no longer comfortable with FRF due to the excuses, lies and lack of accountability and wanted my money, she claimed in emails to be "working with the bookkeeper" on my behalf and may not be able to send a lump sum but could do payments. As of this time they refuse to respond to me by phone or email with her last email stating there is nothing to discuss and they were "releasing" me from my contract. As of this time I will be contacting The BBB, Florida office of Financial Regulation,Office of the Attorney General, etc

As of 2/14/2013 I have entered into a settlement arrangement with Foreclosure Rescue Foundation to recoup part of my losses. Although it took quite a bit of doing and waiting I am satisfied with the outcome. Thanks to Debra Crawford for her work in resolving this issue and I will update further once I have been paid in full
