We were contacted on February 24th, 2014 by the client to diagnose a problem with their washing machine. The service call was scheduled for the next day, February 25th. We arrived and looked at the washer, along with the client, then discussed the diagnosis with them detailing what needed to be replaced and the cost of the repair. The clients declined the repair of the machine, so they paid the service call charge and we left.
Five weeks later, on March 31, 2014, we received a call from the client regarding the washing machine. They indicated that the washer had started leaking after we left on Februar 25th and wanted to know what we were going to do about it. Although we were not made aware of the issue until 5 weeks later, we offered to do the repair that they had previously declined. However, after much discussion of possible solutions we were unable to come to an agreeable resolution.
