I work in an adjacent office to this company doing loan modifications. I have done loans myself as a mortgage broker. And we came to this mortgage broker to do a loan for us after I got signed on to do business with them myself, while I was also working at the company across the hall. The loan was submitted mid Jan and was to close by Feb 6. We were given a loan commitment and told that everything was fine with the loan a week or two into doing the application.

On the day of the closing Freedom started asking for more conditions from the survey to the termite, to adding different people onto bank accounts, the ridiculousness just carries on. Freedom would get stuck on one thing they needed and then stop underwriting the loan it seemed. The Loan Officer, Chris Desanti, who informed me they were doing this loan as a "favor" for me since I was going to be working there never took any initiative to get this done or take the time to understand anything about this loan.

I was constantly reminded how they were doing this loan for "free" and on one occasion even screamed at by the manager of the office, Gary Delgreco because I was asking to many questions and just trying to get the file closed. This went on over 4 days. Freedom dodged phone calls, avoided emails and told us when they did answer that we were not actually approved but they did not know why. WHAT? I am disgusted by the treatment of the branch and the headquarters in New Jersey. I was also actually fired from the branch by Gary Delgreco for arguing with him over the file and because of this transaction.

The loan officer Chris Desanti was incompetent as was the underwriter and the processor and Gary Delgreco the manager seemed to sit idly by doing nothing as this fell to pieces. They wasted days of our time, as well as the title company, the realtor, the closer, the seller not to mention when we did get the approval the rate was higher than what was quoted on the GFE, and I was told now the branch had to charge .50% for loan origination because my husbands score was a few points below 620 when at the time of submission the loan officer, Chris Desanti was provided with paperwork showing an error on my husbands credit and that it needed to be rapid rescored. He did nothing.

When asked about it on the day of closing Chris Desanti said it was too much trouble. I guess me paying $1300 instead of them doing their job was less trouble. My husband was discriminated against as a soldier in qualifying for a VA loan, his income calculated incorrectly and then denied based off of their incorrect income calculations and refusal to count any income from the army, when he has been employed over 13 yrs by them. I also feel discriminated against as a new employee to be fired over this loan. I am totally disgusted and outraged and am more than willing to share with anyone who is interested in learning more about this shady company and their practices, as I witnessed many. What an eye opening experience as a mortgage broker who has been employed in the field for years to see these guys "at work". Feel Free to contact me at anytime.

It amazes me how someone can become so vindictive when things don't go their way. The fact of the matter is that Sara Guenzler and her Husband Christian Mammarella did not deserve the house they were trying to buy because the whole thing was based on LIES. It was based on it to begin with and they are perpetrating it currently. It doesn't surprise me that Sara can continue to give us business and COMPLETELY lie to our face about how she doesn't know who wrote the paragraph on rip off report and how she doesn't even know what Rip off report.com is!!! She must have conveniently forgotten how she wrote that she worked across the hall from us and how she got fired from our branch. This is not a surprise as Sara will lie to get whatever she wants. This is a classic example of a child pouting and lashing out at others because they aren't getting what they feel they deserve.

Lets look at the facts Sara GuenzlerWells Fargo denied your loan and so did Freedom mortgage. Your husband Christian didn't qualify because of his income and that is why it's denied. That is the facts.

What the public doesn't know is how you lied to us saying that it wasn't going to be an investment property when it was and how you didn't want the underwriters to know that you are going through a divorce. It's amazing how you are going through a divorce and are using your husband to buy an investment property for you while you are going through a divorce with him. In your own words that you would say to me often I HAVE TO HAVE THIS HOUSE!!!. That is quite ironic to me as why would the wife of someone going through a divorce say things like that unless she was using him for her own benefit. After seeing how you behaved with our processors and underwriters at Freedom Mortgage, I can only imagine what life at home would be like with you.

The only unfortunate thing about all of this is how we WENT OUT OF OUR WAY for you when you should have been denied right from the beginning. The truth always prevails and that's why I feel great about what I have done and how I have tried to help. I know that no childish lies that you send out there are going to do anything because your whole picture of this whole thing is a LIE. You lied about it being an owner occupied house. You lied about being with your husband when you guys are getting a divorce. You lied to Wells Fargo and got greedy saying you were going to sue them for 50k when you didn't even put one penny down on this house!!! Where do you think you get the right?

In the end everything works out as it must and it was clear that you were not supposed to get this house because you don't deserve it!!! What goes around comes around and your actions reaped the proper reward. Freedom Mortgage and Wells Fargo have nothing to do with the fact you're a liar and you got what you deserve. Never in all of the years that I have been doing mortgages or anything dealing with people for that matter, have I met anyone with such an ugly attitude towards others. Your sentence is that you have to deal with that inner ugliness. It is nauseating but I feel good because I know that I am honest with everyone and I do my complete best to give everything I have to people. That's why I am still in the mortgage business. I know you cant say the same considering you just got fired from the company you worked at across the hall from us and from Freedom mortgages as well. I am happy that your not in the mortgage business as it went down the drain because of people like you.

It doesn't bother me as I know you will completely get what you deserve in life just based on the sick and morally dead person you are. It shows exactly what type of person you are when we confronted you in a nice manner and asked you to take what your wrote off of rip off report as we didn't think it was right for you to say those things as you asked us to continue to do loans, and you denied it like a little child who can't fess up to the truth.

To all of those reading this please don't be misled by someone who is a complete LIAR. Myself, Gary Delgreco, and Freedom Mortgage do the utmost in our power to help people who deserve financing and are truthful about their situation, to obtain it. It is amazing how when someone is guilty and knows they lied how they will point fingers at others so they don't have to take responsibility for their own actions. The ironic thing is that Sara didn't lose one penny over this whole thing. She lost a house that she was trying to obtain illegally and it didn't work out so now she points fingers.

The old saying that when you point one finger at others there is always three pointing back at you is quite fitting here. Hopefully Sara Guenzler can grow up and act like a decent human being as some point in her life. If not she will continue to get what she deserves as she did here.

Sara,
I cannot believe that I am even going to waste my time and justify your rip-off report with an answer but after reading that, I believe the public should know the rest of the story. Here are some key points that you conveniently left out during the process and since then.

Lets start with the fact that my office obtained this loan application because you were DENIED by Wells Fargo. You were tired of working with them and were going to sue them for not getting your loan closed and you could not get a returned call from them. I now know why they would not return your phone calls as I have come to learn that your behavior is extraordinarily less than desirable. Hindsight is always 20/20 but if I would of known how you were going to behave during the process I would of never accepted your loan application nor would I of hired you to work for my branch. We agreed to do this loan for you, since you were going to be employed at our branch. We did whatever we could to make this file go smoothly and you know that is the truth and cannot be denied.

Did you ever stop to think about the fact that maybe the reason why your loan was denied is because the day before closing you flat out told Chris and I that you just wanted to flip it and sell it for a profit. Let's be honest, you had zero intentions of occupying this home and you know it. I will not "sit by idly" as you try to fraudulently obtain a mortgage on my watch. You were dishonest from the start and the fact that you got denied is exactly how it should be. Here is a news flash, 2005 and 2006 are over and the days of no doc or stated income loans (liar loans) are gone. Freedom Mortgage does not approve owner occupied mortgage's for investment properties, and apparently neither does Wells Fargo.

Oh, I almost forgot this little nugget of information. You called me after you wrote your rip-off report and asked me if I can please notate the file at Freedom to say that "we did not receive enough of your financials to obtain a mortgage approval in time" because you wanted to make sure our denial will not affect your lawsuit with Wells Fargo. I guess that secret is out of the bag. I am looking forward to cooperating with Wells Fargo in the fullest regarding this matter.

Yes it is true that I fired you from my branch because of your behavior. I will not tolerate someone badmouthing and cursing at my processor and loan officer and certainly will not tolerate an employee telling me to F#@K Off. The reason why Freedom dodged your calls and emails is because I told them to. When I have a processor with 40 loans she is trying to close, the last thing I need her to worry about is your calls. Maybe, if you behaved like an actual adult instead of a kid pouting in the corner because they didn't get what they want, we would have been more inclined to field your calls.

What I find absolutely hysterical is that if I am so bad, and if Freedom mortgage is so bad. Then why did you meet me in the parking lot of my office on a Saturday with your husband 2 weeks after this deal fell through and give me a 2 inch thick stack of income documents on your husband so I can hurry up and re-submit the loan to Freedom mortgage because you found out the home was still available. If I am such a bad mortgage professional and your experience was so bad, then why were you coming back?

Also, if Freedom mortgage is so bad, then why did you ask to be employed again with us last week?????? I have done nothing less than take the time to answer your questions, give you rate quotes, knowledge on streamline mortgage programs and even meet with your clients and what do I get in return? I get my name on rip-off report.com. I even did conference calls with you and your colleagues late as March 10th 2009 to explain some different programs and even ran a credit report for a file that you were working on. It is clear that the mortgage business is better off without individuals like you in it. Here is an idea, why don't you do all Americans a favor and find a new line of work. The mortgage business has had enough of individuals like you.

You mention in your report that Chris DeSanti said it was too much trouble to do a rapid rescore the day of closing. Yes, 1 hour before the closing time is too late in the game to do a rapid rescore. The credit was not the reason why the file was not getting approved, it was the income.

You obviously do not know myself or Chris that well at all. Neither of us would ever discriminate against any borrower for any reason and we certainly would not discriminate against a member of the United States Army. The fact that you would even state such a claim is ridiculous. Our reputation is impeccable and neither of us appreciates your need to rant about an underwriting decision and your attempt to tarnish our reputations. The bottom line is, the income that you were using to calculate your husband's debt to income ratio was incorrect and the underwriter has the final say, NOT YOU. Freedom and Wells Fargo both denied your loan and they were both correct in doing so.

You state in your rip-off report that you have done loans as a mortgage broker before. What type of loans Sara? You admitted to me that you have never done FHA or VA loans. When you did loans did you have to follow underwriting guidelines? Or did you just whine and complain until the underwriter gave in and cleared the conditions? Let me tell you, in the real world underwriting guidelines are followed and unfortunately your loan was denied. I want to also mention that you had ZERO money down on this deal and had absolutely nothing at risk.
Today is March 13, 2009 and you just spoke with another loan officer in my office and asked when we will be able to obtain financing for your sister in laws Texas property. Again, if we are such bad mortgage originators and Freedom is such a bad mortgage company, then why do you keep coming back? When I am unhappy with a company I stay as far away from them as I can.

Your mood swings, lies, and lack of consideration for other human beings is appalling. You should be ashamed of your behavior including your pathetic rant on the rip-off report. It looks like you have never been told "NO" to anything. Grow up Sara, and for all the people reading this, I am glad you didn't get this house, you did not deserve it.

Last but not least, before I posted this reply, I called you and asked you to remove my name from this report. You proudly claimed that you had no idea what I was talking about and that maybe it was your husband that wrote it. Either way, your behavior is pathetic.
