*Author of original report: Quit Flaming, Responder Ken
*Consumer Comment: You noted in you original report that the additional P&H charges were noted on the homepage, but not later...
*Author of original report: FabriClear's Order Execution Page (Step 3) DOES NOT disclose 2nd S&H charge
*Consumer Comment: Here's what's on their homepage.
"SEND ME: 1 16 oz bottle and 2 2 oz travel bottles of FabriClear [TM] for only $19.95 plus $7.95 S&H. Plus, my bonus 16 oz bottle of FabriClear [TM] FREE!"
Then you are directed to "CLICK HERE TO ORDER"at which point your credit card is charged. But what the order page does not disclose is that the bonus bottle will incur an additional $7.95 shipping and handling charge and thus, you end up paying $7.95 twice or $15.80 in S&H charges for one package of 2 large and 2 small bottles of product. Only after your credit card is charged does the order confirmation page reveal that you've been charged twice for shipping and handling.
The main page of their website does disclose with an asterisk next to the word "FREE" and small text to the side that an additional $7.95 for shipping and handling is required to get the free bottle. But several web pages later on the order execution page after giving your credit card information, this important detail is left out, thus fooling you that you are supposedly getting something for free when in truth, the company is making money off overcharging for shipping and handling. The customer is not given the alternative online to opt out of the "free" bottle to avoid the second $7.95 S&H charge.
