The previous comments you read about Face 2 Face unfortunately are all TRUE.
Before I applied to work there I saw the previous comments and said to myself......"Every company has its bad apples" so lets give it a shot anyway. AND I'm sorry I ever did. This company screwed up from the top down. I'm not sure Barry Reese knows whats going on in his company. If he doesn't then he should investigate it himself, and if he does, then he is the world worst CEO.
Let's begin with their supplier, Verizon. Face 2 Face has their sales reps selling Verizon business services in an already over saturated market. It's hard to make sales if everyone already has your product. 75% of New York State has Verizon, and of the 25% who don't, they HATE VERIZON. Within the 75% that have more then half of those people scream profanities at the sales reps when they identify themselves as sales reps on behalf of Verizon. They recently started sending people to Long Island and brookly at our own expense. Cablevision/optimum areas in which top sales reps still can't make sales because their competitions rates are DRASTICALLY lower. Face 2 Face has a Verizon rep they report to who is an even bigger crook then Face 2 Face is. Her name is Shelly, she works directly for Verizon and is in charge of all 3rd party sales companies and inside sales reps. Since she gets paid no matter who sells the service, she generally can be found snooping around and stealing sales from sales reps at face 2 face and gives the information to inside sales rep for them to get credit for the sale. By the time you realized what happened your customer has been sold by someone else and your simply told "c'est la vie" which in english translates to "you snooze you lose" from french. Shelly cannot be trusted and be very aware of what information you share in front of her.
Now Face 2 Face. I didn't believe it to be true but it is, Chris Ungerino is the greediest person you'll ever come into contact with. How Barry Reese still has his employed baffles my mind. He changes company policies as much as one changes their underwear. He will do everything in his power to suck every last dollar for his pockets and screw the sales rep. In my short 2 months with the company, commission rates were changed 4 times. Each time lower and lower. Incentives were changed every other day and when you did achieve them they would either tell you that you didn't achieve it OR that the policy changed just so he didn't have to pay you. All in all it is because of Chrs Ungerino and Shelly that I quit.
Chris Ungerino was the reason I left, Anna Guerra was the reason I stayed. Although I didn't always agree with ways of motivation deep down I know she's a nice lady working in a terrible company.
There is no ownership or sense of responsibility in this company, upper management can't ever give you a straight and truthful answer and is always passing the buck to someone else.
When you come in for your interview they will promise you the world even telling you that 1 member of the company makes 220K+. Truth is that he has never made that much, and other then him the average yearly income for employees there is 20-25k per year (if that).
So, if you want a job the provide the following:
Mediocre training at best
-No Base pay
-No support from admin staff
-No support from management
-Constantly changing policies, procedures and commission rates
-No paid expenses
-Negative working environment
-Greed from upper management
Then this is the place for you. The only thing this company provides for you is a reason to leave your home and take the subway to.
I have worked some other bad jobs before but this most certainly is the worst. STAY AWAY, keep going with your job search, its better to pass on this
and wait for the right opportunity. Otherwise i look forward to reading you submission here in due time.
