This company Factory Direct Home Improvement did my neighbors windows and other neighbors windows three houses down from me. I stopped by my neighbors house to take a look and thought they did a good job, so I called them out to give me an estimate. They told me they would give me the same price as my neighbor for each window. After I looked at the price they charged my neighbor and what they quoted me it was a difference of $80.00. I asked them why was it different from there estimate? My neighbor purchased the $149.00 window with trim and that was installed. I wanted the exact same window only difference is I have an extra picture window and they said that picture windows cost more and that was the $80.00 difference.
I think this is too good to be true! I have searched 5 different window companies and they cant even get close to this price. Im
just going to wait and watch my neighbors windows for awhile to see if they have any product issues. The guy that came out from Factory Direct Home Improvement was nice and answered all my questions; this means they may have something to hide in my opinion. If you plan to do business with this company be careful, there has to be a reason why they can beat the price of every window company out here. I will report back.

I purchased windows from Factory Direct and just had them installed on Monday. The windows look great and I can tell a huge difference. I apologize for the two reports above that I posted; I didnt think they would be able to deliver a quality window at a good price. I now have a sign in my yard and I will be the first one to tell anyone who inquires about Factory Direct that they are an awesome company. The installers were very nice and did a great job too.

UPDATE FOR FACTORY DIRECT HOME IMPROVEMENT

Ill be the first one to admit that Im wrong. Ive had 2 more window companies out to give estimates in addition to the other 5 that I have already had out to my home to give me an estimate on windows. I still cant find anyone to beat the price of Factory Direct Home Improvement!!!
I went over to my other neighbors home yesterday to take a look at their windows that Factory Direct installed for them. They were the second home to have windows installed by Factory Direct. As much as I hate to say it they look really good. And they also received the same price as my other neighbor and the quote I was given.
I called Factory Direct and spoke with the General Manager, Nathan and he said hes never seen another window company beat the pricing of any windows they sell and if I wanted him to personally come out to get everything started for me. He also went on to talk about the warranty and a 2 week lead time which made me feel a little better once I talked with the manufacturer myself. When I called the manufacturer, they answered the phone inside a minute after a few prompts and confirmed all the detail of the warranty. I didnt think all my questions or concerns would be answered, to my surprise they were and confirmed.
Im now 80% sure that I am going to go ahead and buy windows from Factory Direct. I just have to decide on if I want Low E and Argon or not. From what I have read it makes a huge difference on saving energy in your home, up to 40% in savings. So, I will have to think about it. If I decide to buy windows form Factory Direct, I will report back on the installation and my over all opinion on the windows.
