When you attempt to contact them, you are given a run around and everyone you speak to knows abosolutely nothing about your account even though conventional wisdom will tell you that the computer in front of them should have your account information located on it.
You are told to write letters and formal complaints and fax them into various diisions. They then tell you it will take 4-6 weeks to resolve your issuse. After this waiting period is over, you will get no response on your requests.
I personally have found dozens of articles online from clients of Fairbanks Capital / Equicredit. They have many legal proceedings against them and I can see why. This company basically steals your house, money, and your patience.
So beware, Fairbanks Capital Corp./ Equicredit is a certified RIPOFF!!!!
