Fairbanks Capital Corp. Ripoff - They Threw Me Into Forclosure, Held My Checks Back For 2 Months & Are Trying To Ruin My Credit!!! Salt Lake City Utah

In September 2001 Fairbanks bought my loan from another company. Since then it has been a Nightmare from Hell! First they were charging me escrow even though I had faxed & mailed them proof of Insurance & paid taxes.

Then I got behind ONE month on my payments because of personal illness. They said they would work with me. WRONG! I was behind ONE month for about Three months, then I got caught back up in December. Paid January & February on time. At the end of February I received a notice from them that they were Forclosing on me, that I was 3 months past due! This Was Not True! I had return receipts to proove they received my payments.

Even though I prooved to them that they had the payments. They said that it was not in their computer & to send them copies of the cancelled check. I then got to looking at my bank statements, the cancelled checks were not there.

They threw me into forclosure & demanded $2100 imediately or I would have to be moved out of my home of 13 years, in 30 days. Then they started racking up the fees. I asked What Fees? They said Lawyers fees, late charges, interest & etc.

Then in April I received my 2 checks back from them, uncashed. Saying that they could not accept these checks since I was already into Forclosure. This Was Totally Outrageous!!! They were treating me like I Was The Bad Guy! When, in fact, They are The Mortgage Corporation From Hell!!!

They finally sold my mortgage to another company, & because of their Bad Mouthing, I had a terrible time the first 2 months with this new company. I had to proove to them with copies of all of the agreements I had made with Fairbanks, cancelled checks, insurance & paid taxes, that I was telling them the truth & that Fairbanks was lying to them.

Now, I was thinking about refinancing & found out today from the company I have been working with that Fairbanks reported that I was behind on most my payments for the last 2 years. NOW, I have to prove to this company that I am telling the truth & that Fairbanks is STILL lying to them about me.
