Our nightmare started 4 yrs. ago with EquiCredit now Fairbanks Capital Corp.. I was diagnosed with cancer and had to have surgery and this is where it all began. When I called what was then EquiCredit to explain why our payment was past due and to try and correct it. I got the following response. Are you ok? Are you going to life? If so, just pay up now.
I was appauled. We had trouble from there on out. Two years later we get a letter stating we are being transferred to Fairbanks Capital Corp. and the story goes pretty much like very one elses.
When we got our letter I discovered that the only thing that changed was the company name from EquiCredit to Faibanks Capital Corp. all of the contact names, phone numbers, fax number (which do not work), and addresses were all the same as before.
