Ms. Morris claimed to be certified & licensed (she's not), she also said she trained her service dogs for 4 hrs/day/every day. The first dog pulled me to the ground and fractured my amputated leg on a visit. I told Ms. Morris there was something terribly wrong with the dog. She screamed at me & claimed it was me. Of note my 6'2", 220lb son was pulled to the ground by the dog. Finally 2 months later she called & said the dog had pulled her down & it was unsafe to place the dog with me. She promised me another dog immediately.
The 2nd dog was coming from California from one of her breeding 'arrangements', her friends took the puppy out to a dog shelter walk for charity & he caught Kennel Cough; finally when he made it to AZ, she only trained him for 1 hr/day/every other day (she admitted it). When I questioned her, (because he refused to do anything I needed him to do). She said she had already 'spent enough time on my dogs!" then she informed me that she really wanted to keep this dog for her new stud dog because the one she had kept was not working out.
We argued, then a few weeks later she claimed that my dog was better suited for a child with autism. In the meantime, I had paid over $10,000 including her family vacation to Sea World (she claimed this was for extra training), food, vet bills, grooming, neutering, shots, licenses, service certification, service vest, etc. Ms. Morris has & is REFUSING TO PROVIDE the contractual dog to me.
Ms. Morris is refusing to refund ALL of my money to me, refusing to give me a trained dog per the contract & won't accept my calls/e-mails.
Now she has filed an article in the Arizona Republic, 12/23/2011 written by Mr. Scott Craven, that she is going to 'give a service dog to a person in need'. I am an above knee amputee, living on disability and extremely part time work! I support a child alone; & have many chronic illnesses. How much more needy can you get? This is a media ploy by Ms. Morris, I will guarantee if this is not the dog that was supposed to come to me, it is someone else she has cheated!
Buyer Beware! I desperately need help; I have filed a complaint with the newspaper, all of the news stations in the Phoenix Metropolitan area & The AZ Attorney General's Office. Please people do not do business with this CROOK; she is cruel to her dogs & to her clients! I can prove all of my claims. If you are an attorney willing to work pro bono, I'd love to work with you!!!!

My friend has a dog trained by Wendy/ Fairytails.

As a person who has and is training dogs of all kinds and sizes ( Papillons - Irish wolfhound) including several service dogs, I can only say that based on what I observe with my friends dog, I believe Wendy puts in all effort needed to insure her service dogs have all the traits and skills needed, for a disabled person to benefit from owning the dog. It is however also up to the new owner to insure that the dog is not exposed to situations where it would be unfair to expect the dog to perform correctly, specially when they are still in training.
I believe that Wendy provides a quality dog, with training fitting for the specific individual. I also have experienced that even after a dog leaves the trainer, it is up to the new owner to keep up the training and positively reinforce the commands and the skills taught in training. Without this the skills will diminish.
I hope one negative report will not discourage anyone from getting a service dog form Wendy!

I was actually with Wendy at Sea World and at the Fair when she was working on your dog. You did not pay her that much money as I know it does not cost that much. As for the gas and paying for her vacation, really? Do you think $200 buys anything? The gas itself is over $400(Yes I have made that trip 5 times).
If you are going to write negative things make sure what you are saying is fact. I tihnk the abuse part is on your end. I will not post what is known, but believe me I owuld never train let alone sell you a dog. You violated so many things on the contract, but again I will not go there on here.
Just like you said I did something and caused a dog to get sick and that I do not know anything. Get a clue, I am a Vet Tech and know alot more th an you ever will about the care and treatment of dogs. Again, you got facts and changed them to suit you and did not state the truth.
Wendy had gone out of her way to do everything possible for you. You even went back to her and asked her to get you a different breed and train that one to go with the Golden. Really??
Hate to say it, but you are using your disability as a "Poor Me" everyone rips me off.

This women who is writing these untruths claim many things that are untruth. I really would like to know how Wendy took her hole family on a Sea World Trip paid by this women for the money she paid of 200.00 Gas alone is more then that. You can see for yourself how Wendy took her dog she was training for her to Sea World and a fair for 200 that the women gave her . It is all over youtube .If Wendy took the dog and worked the dog the dog was being trained so where is that wrong ??? I also know that Wendy would bring many locale clinets and ones willing to fly in from out of state into court with her with thier dogs that they have recived and this women posting untruths would be in for a surprize. I also know that Wendy is licanced and certifed , I also have seen the contract this women speaks of and it is nothing like she claims. I do want everyone to know that Rape is a disabilty is is called PTSD the dog did attend court with this young women and the court's have excepted this dog into thier program . There are many forms of disablitys out there just ask the ADA . It is really a sad day that misinformed people have to hurt others . There is such a thing as Deformation of Character.

You are not disabled and have not had over $ 13,000 stolen from you then

I am completely and totally disabled; I am an above knee amputee with a very bad knee (the only knee that I have left). Ms. Morris HAS stolen over $ 13,000 from me. You can say whatever you like, but the fact is, I signed a contract for something that Ms. Morris did NOT AND COULD NOT supply. The first dog she was 'training' for me, pulled me to the ground not once but multiple times, fracturing what is left of my left leg. My 6'2" 200lb son could barely walk the dog. When I reported the dogs behavior to Ms. Morris, she BLAMED me. I have more than 30 years experience with dogs and training dogs, however, because of my extreme disability I cannot train a dog now. When the 1st dog pulled Ms. Morris and her husband to the ground she said it was not safe to give him to me. She did promised to give me another dog and have him neutered, vaccinated as well as certified as I had paid for the 1st dog. Ms. Morris has always stated that she trains her 'service; dogs for 4-6 hours per day every day. When I went to see the 2nd dog, he refused to do ANYTHING that I needed him to do. After extensive questioning, Ms. Morris admitted in front of a witness that she had only been training the 2nd dog for 1-2 hours per day, every other day. I contacted multiple service dog agencies and they all said that the dog would never be trained to what I needed - they all train for 4-6 hours per day every day for 6 months. Ms. Morris, lied on multiple occasions and has kept ALL of my money. So please explain to me what part of this is right? I did not receive the 'item' I paid for as I contractually paid for it. In addition, she has my image plastered all over her website as if she has trained for an amputee. Ms. Morris is wholly incapable of honesty, good business and training a dog for a truly disabled person. I think the last time I spoke with her she had trained a disability service dog for a girl that had been raped?!?!?!?! Really? I was not aware that rape was a legally classed disability, cut your leg off, yes - that is a disability. She is a crook, folks if you want the honest truth contact me. I have absolute PROOF. I have proof of payment, contract, etc. Ms. Morris even convinced me to pay for her families trip to Sea World, so that the dog could get exposed to crowds - because the 1st dog freaked out at people, all people. He panicked in a restaurant that had a total of 5 people. I since then spoken to several real trainers in the city where I live. They have ALL said that Ms. Morris has a reputation - and not a good one. STAY AS FAR AWAY AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN. Do not spend your disability (as small as it is - as I did) on this crook. Also, Ms. Morris IS NOT certified, licensed or a trained disability service dog trainer. Her background is in painting! I do have 3 people that are willing to speak with you and testify in court as to Ms. Morris' tactics. Sir, you have purchased a golden retriever, they are wonderful animals, easy to train and all around good dogs. I have owned 3, all 3 have lived over 12-14 years. Ms. Morris is abusive to her dogs and clients. I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY MONEY BACK! I will be taking her to court in the near future for breach of contract and theft; it is sad that a woman who is making over $ 200,000 per year off of her dogs had to steal from a totally disabled woman living off of disability. She is a very sick, sick woman.
