I never see him even once in any homeless shelters, since I volunteer for the homeless both in the streets and shelters and the AIDS Hospice managed by the nuns of Mother Teresa in the West Village in Manhattan and Queens
The only thing that I don't like is when someone who lies just to get sympathy from the subway riders for donations.
Many times when I encounter him I will tell him stop lying to people and if he needs help, just ask donations for himself and not use the homeless shelters to get donations.
The NYPD don't do anything even though the "panhandling" in New York City is illegal (it's posted in the subway trains)
