Family Dollar Store a woman that works there is rude, i heard her talking about me when i was in the store, i have complained to there web site about having to walk thru there cigerette smoke to get in the store and i ahve bad allergies and asthma , i complained three times and never got a response back so obviously they dont care about there customers,i have banned myself from shopping there. several times i have gone to this family dollar and have had to walk thru there cigerette smoke to get into the store, i have bad allergies and asthma and cant breathe well when i am around it , the employees there leave the door open and hold it while they smoke , then the clothes they sell smell like it , because they are located right next to the door, the girl that works there is usually rude , the one day she sat and filled her face with food while waiting on me ,
one day i was in there and she was talking about me and i was like 5 feet away , the employees there like to sit and discuss who the lazy employee is while they wait on you, there is only one guy i like in there who has any manners , and looks like a hard worker, i feel sorry for him having to work with people like these two i am talking about, i have emailed the company several times and never got a response, i guess they dont care about there customers or making any money , because i have banned myself from shopping there and refuse to give my money to people like this , they obviously have no respect for the customers who put food on there table,

Simply put; yes it is rude and uncalled for that employees would comment about you in paricular. But misery needs company and the whole truth is no one that works for family dollar is happy. We work there because the pay is descent not good just "descent" esecially for this time of economic crisis; but we had no idea the company sucks as bad as it does. On a daily basis we are cursed at and threatened by customers. At least in my district (because i know about everyone throughout the 12 stores). And when you deal with the same type of peope all the time you lose respect for "the cusomer" and it becomes "survival of the fittest"! Also we do not get breaks though we are allowed by law. We don't. And honestly smokers are the only ones that do, simply because smokers say tough ninneys im smoking- i need a 3minute break and run outside trying to smoke before another ruthless customer or corporate flamer comes. So instead of complaining to and about the workers know that they work in hell* and are trying to get through the day the best they can.
