I just attented their '07 poetry convention in Reno. I want to warn anyone else who gets one of their deceptive letters to not send them any money. It is the biggest scam You could ever imagine. They made more children cry than I could deal with. The workshops were not worth the energy. The flight, Hotel stay and 3 meals a day that you have to pay for were not worth it either. The banquet food was gross. And, they didn't even want to give us another pitcher of water.

They took the Champagn away after about ten min. after the reception started. The key not speaker did not deliver a key note The convention was not worth it, but I did meet some wonderful talented people. The contestants that won wrote stories about things such as "STICKERS ON FRUIT" So, if you are a real poet, that speaks about real issues in the world, don't attend this conference. Take the $2,000 (for you and a guest) that it takes for you to get to the convention and invest in your talent some other way. Im just being honest. ITS THE BIGGEST WASTE OF TIME TO BE BOTHERED WITH THIS COMPANY.
