I was a previous buyer for Fantasy Automotive in Jonesboro, GA. This auto dealer sold me a vehicle that was a 2008 Kia Spectra and I had to put $1000 down on this vehicle and I also already made 2 payments on this vehicle all totaling $1300 and I had other things I've did on this vehicle as well. This car has been in the shop 2 times after buying the vehicle! Within not even 30 days of buying this Vehicle the transmission went out and the dealer didn't want to give me another car or have the transmission taking care of.

This dealer also lied to the company that loan the money on the vehicle false info about my employer. Due to the car going out on me I have lost my job and my house, due to not having transportation to get back and fourth to work and haven't been able to find work yet!  I spoke to a lawyer about the lemon law but the lawyer said that this law only refer to new cars!! Can a lawyer please contact me and see what else can be done! Thank you.

Truth

AUTHOR: Fantasy Automotives - ()

This previous buyer of the Kia Spectra was a very disgruntle customer due to the fact she owed us money and  never made her full down payment.  When it was time to make the rest of her down payment she came up with multiple excuses of why she couldn't pay it. Every week, she had to pay light bill, phone bill, buy diapers etc. Nevertheless she also defaulted on her first month's payment. As far as the mechanical issues of this vehicle the thermostat was bad but we fixed it.

She also called to say she thought something was wrong with her transmission.  But that was not the case, the finance company shut her car down because she did't make her first payment.  We never did anything fraudulent with any paperwork, we only sent in what was given to us by the customer.  But as you know if you are a business owner someone owes you money, it is always some B.S. Thank you, sincerely Management of Fantasy Automotives.

I went to this dealership on 9/25/12 hoping to buy a 2008 ford focus for my son. Yes, i know these places can be ripoffs but I was willing to give them a little credit since they did give me the carfax. Well, I haven't actually seen one before so I ordered a second report when I got home. I was told after we did the paper work they would call later. Which they did but I missed the call. The night, after I ordered the second vehicle report, I realized the car had damage to the front bumper. I was guessing it would cost over $1000 to repair. However, the cars do have buyers orders that say they are sold as is. i was willing to go the mile. With limited funds and bad credit, I was desperate to get my son something. But not desperate enough to pay, over $3000 more than what the car was worth. Let me go back to the carfax. It said there were no reported accidents, yadda yadda ya, no flood damage, yadda yadda ya! The car had CLEARLY damage to the front bumper. So the carfax was useless, in my opinion. Just because the car was never reported for being in a accident doesn't mean it wasn't. Even if it was hit while parked in a garage. It's still an accident. To make a looonnnggg story short, finance guy calls three times on 9/26 to verify info. why did he ask me if i had concerns about the car? I gave it to him straight. They wanted $10,500 at 28% apr for 42 months!!! I already told dude, i wouldn't pay no more than $230 a month cause i currently pay $279 for a 20 10 hyundai accent. These ppl have bumped their heads. I called dudes at the dealership and told them, the price ain't right in so many words for a damaged car. Pops says, i need to consider my credit score and downpayment. Okay..what does my credit score have to do with the price of the car? So, he knows I'm not going with it. Plus dude from financing couldn't tell me what was the price they gave on the buyers order. Something fishing all around with these shady dudes and not a fish market within 2 miles. smh. Thinking bad credit equals being ripped off!
