 I saw a promotion for a professional teeth whitener under the name of DentaWhite.  The promo indicated that you could get a free sample for just shipping costs (~$3.50).  The surprise comes when you get charged for $92.37 for a continuing commitment. 


The "terms" are hidden from the customer and a link to those terms is well below the place you click submit for your initial "sample" order.


I was told that there was nothing in the literature sent along with the product to indicate that what you actually put into motion is an ongoing monthly charge all of that information is on the website.  However, it is not CLEARLY stated anywhere and I was told that I could cancel the transaction for future shipments; however, since I did not call within a window of 14 days from the day of ORDERING (not receiving), it was impossible to refund the initial $92.37 because their computer system only allows one refund, and, (lucky me!) the second shipment to me has already been sent - 20 days after the initial shipment and well before I saw my bank statement alerting me to this scam. 


Along with this promotion was an advertisement for Dazzle White toothpaste (you are supposed to use BOTH of them together for best results)!  This time the charge was for $60.47; however, I called to cancel this before a second shipment was issued so I can return the original product sent to me for a full refund.  Connected to this offer, you get signed up for a magazine of some kind (saw a charge of $3.34 on my bank statement); however, I was able to cancel this as well again, nothing plainly stated anywhere when you are on the website.

First off Denta White is not the same company as the others mentioned here. They are all different companies with different Terms and Conditions.

Secondly, if you have an issue with Denta White the best thing to do is contact their customer support team directly.

If you would like to talk to someone about your concern their number is 866-982-5126. Their hours of operation are 6:00 am to 4:00 pm pst and 9:00 am to 7:00 pm est. If you have a problem with a product or your order you should call to see if they can get the issue resolved.

If you would like to do it online you can visit their website at www.white-smiles.com. You just need to input your information and click submit. From there you can cancel your account or check the status of your cancellation. You can cancel at anytime. If you want to return a product you need to call customer service for information.

Refund Received

As soon as I saw the $92.37 charge on my credit card, I called the toll-free number on the box. I had to mail back the product, which cost me about $5.00. It took about 10 days for the credit to appear on my credit card.

I still don't recommend this company. A 99 cent trial cost me 5 bucks for return postage, and a headache. Notably, I was never charged the 99 cents.

I saw the same promotion and am having the same problems--not only with this company but with their affiliates who have also been charging my credit card for products that I never receive.  I have called to cancel but continue to have my card charged by this company located in Cyprus!  Be ware this is a total rip off do not even go to the web site of this fraudulent outfit
