This company of "crap" is claiming on the Nebraska Job Link that an insurance agent can make a "salary" of $40,000 to $70,000.

I was an agent with them for two years and I made ZERO money. In fact I lost about $70,000. When you take into consideration time lost working at a real job, it's egregious.

Now, to top it off, they are sending ME a bill for $13,000.

I take responsibility for being so stupid as to fall for the lies, however, I have paid enough in personal debt. I will not pay them any money after being SCREWED so bad.

NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER do ANY kind of business with this company. Do not fall for their lies.

#1 UPDATE Employee

Agent Responsibilities

AUTHOR: John - ()

Perhaps what you failed to realize that when you became a licensed inusrance agent , you are paid commission and have to sell products to earn money.

I work for this company and you are correct about paying back the company, but that only happens when your client cancels their policy and you have to pay back what you did not earn.  When you sell a policy you are paid based on the annual premium.  If the client leaves and goes to another carrier, then of course you have to give back the un-earned portion of your commission.

You can make a good living in this industry and with this company, but you have to choose who you want as clients, who is going to remain with you and understand that it takes time to build a book, this is not a get rich quick scheme, it is a long term career that builds over time.

I have been an agent for just over year and am doing well.  It takes time and alot of dedication.

Im curious how you worked for that long and made ZERO. Did you sell any policies? Also why are they billing you for $13,000 now?

#3 UPDATE EX-employee responds

Been there done that

AUTHOR: Elliott - (U.S.A.)

I spent two years with FBFS. They are still somewhere late in the 19th century. They do not know what they are doing and tried the same crap on me.

Their products and methods are as outdated as the middle ages and it won't change anytime soon. They are a bunch of "farm boys" who should probably go back to the farm. I left when they quit paying legitimate claims. Remember: All companies treat their employees and their customers exactly the same.

Put them behind you and keep them there. And do not pay those clowns anything.
