We entered into an financial agreement with The Farmacy as of July 2010 where we agreed to provide a promissory note of $25,000 to "The Wellness Foundation" (a subsiduary type S corp of The Farmacy.
The Farmacy itself is a type S Corp where the two sole signees are Michael Ommaha & JoAnna LaForce.
We received 3 payments totalling 15,000.00. One payment came directly from Ms. LaForce of $5,000.00 cash exactly a year ago; that was our final payment sadly.
We are still owed $12,500.00 as of this writing. Numerous calls have been made to rectify the situation.
I do not believe The Farmacy is operating in good faith along the lines of their stated mission. They are leaving investors holding the bag for their compassionate care; up to including their former legal council who when contacted as of last week informed me that they no longer represent The Farmacy and better yet, has not paid their outstanding legal fees to the Buynak Law firm.
I am hoping this post might begin the process of shaming them publicly for taking advantage of our financial resources to further their own ends & leave investors, lawyers & patients out in the cold.

The fact I continually see posted in various newspapers "news" of bankruptcies' collections , court judgements - 'out of court' settlements, etc., all showing litigent's names, sort of flies in the face of your statement.

Seems like such data is public record. QUOTE:"(The) Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, which protects consumers from their business being broadcast to all and sundry", you say? What's wrong with this picture?

Not to mention proclaiming the truth is normally not actionable.

I am a board member of the farmacy collective. wellness research inc. borrowed $25,000 from bob berg and gina orr of which $15,000 wa repaid. as reported by the press' the goverment intervened and forfeited property which appears that the berg's money was used for. the goverments intervention is a set back to the medical cannabis community. the berg's at all time know that neither the farmacy nor joanna laforce are legally responsible for the repayment of this loan.

rules you have to follow as a "lender". One of them is called 3rd party
disclosure. By making this post in a public forum, you have violated a
FEDERAL law called the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, which
protects consumers from their business being broadcast to all and
sundry. These people now have the right to sue you for losses and damages
that basically have no ceiling. Think about that before you post next
time. Honestly I hope they sees it and sue the pants off of you.
