I have a 2004 VW Passat Wagon. None of the remaining OEM VW glass has this problem and I'm going to ask Safelite what is required to get an OEM windshield installed. If companies just installed a good quality windshield in the first place, this would cost them less in the end.

ANyway if you want OEM parts, you might as well go straight to the dealer, have them order the part and (if you still want to use safelite) they can come out to the dealer and install it in front of you and many other employees...We've had a lot of complaints when people used the Mobile service, the best work is done in the SHOP!! If you have to wait 30-45 min thats okay, at least you will know its done RIGHT!!
