I was searching for a car and looked on craiglist and found a car I was interested in, and called the number listed and Chris Eckels from Fastlane Auto Repair answered and was very pleasant and invited me to look at the car although the car was having a fuel pump replaced for aprox. $600.I made the trip and liked the car and stated when the repair was complete I would probably purchase it, and when the repair was finished I did just that paying with cash $6000 and was assured by Chris Eckels the fuel pump repair was covered by fastlane's warranty.I also apreciated at that time Chris Eckels indicated to me that he had a very bad cold and that I should not get to close to him,I responded that I apreciated his thoughtfulness as my wife was battling stage 4 inoperable lung cancer and her immune system was compromised and was very ill...Well a few days later my wife was admitted to the hospital in the ICU having incurred pnumonia and the car then left me stranded 25 miles from home after leaving the hospital that night, the fuel guage showed gas but it was either empty or the new pump was bad.I had to call wrecker and pay a 100 dollar tow bill.The next morning I got a ride to a gas station and put a few gallons of fuel from the gas can in the car and it started up,so I called Chris Eckels of fastlane auto repair and advised him that the pump might not be working correctly.....Chris imeadiatly became very rude and arrogant stating loudly that the pump was NOT bad and that there were sensors at different points on the car that were the problem and to put more gas in the car and keep him advised..I did just what Chris said to do and swallowed my pride at letting Chris talk to me in that demeaning way figuring he still might not be feeling good from the cold or just having a bad day.I filled the tank up and after several days of driving now the gauge will not move at all,so I called Fastlane again and Chris answered and had the same Bad attitude as before, even when I informed him that my wife was in the hospital in critical condition and explained I needed reliable fuel readings as not to get stranded again. Chris very nastily said bring it in in a few more days on friday, so i consulted another Mechanic on the problem and he tested the vehicle and stated the only fuel sensor on that car was on the EXPENSIVE FUEL PUMP unit Chris had installed and that was the problem..so now CHRIS ECKELS had lost any TRUST I could have placed in him...Friday came around and i went there with a repacement pump in my car and also to pick up the spare keys on my car I had forgotten, and Chris came walking up to me with the keys stating he was busy and would NOT be able to check the car out today, so i told him to his face he was a CROOK-LIAR AND A CHEAT and that if he could not stand behind his Work he should NOT be in business PERIOD!!.......I had to pay another mechanic to replace the pump..Check soon on YOUTUBE and a new website detailing this nightmare in full detail with pictures video and receipts........THANK YOU!
