When it arrived, I was horrified to find that there was a dent in the side of the steel case. When I opened the tower, I found that all of the internal components were lying at the bottom of the case, the heat sink supports were bent downward, and several of the hard drive mounting pins were either broken or bent out of shape. I also noticed that one of the hard drives had been broken off the cables. The graphics card was also found lying on the bottom of the tower. The metal supports were bent, while the clips that held it in place to the tower were still engaged. It appeared that my tower had been dropped repeatedly with force to cause so much internal damage. FedEx denied the claim, saying that the bubble wrapping did not provide enough cushioning to prevent the damage and allowed the tower to move around in the box. They said that styrofoam would have protected it???
I'm shocked and disappointed that FedEx so blatantly destroyed my personal property and now refuse to pay for at least part of it.
