Despite my own experiecne, I have researched and found these folks buy uncollectable debts on pennies for the dollar (a so called assignment), and then vigorously prosecute you in the New Jersey and New York Courts.

Didn't think you could go to jail for owing a debt in the United states other than child support? Well, these guys are very creative.

Once they find you, with a default judgment for a debt you never heard of, they will then use a loophole in the New Jersey discovery laws, never intended for situations like this, to PUT YOU IN JAIL. They modify court forms to scare you with civil orders of arrest.

What's really scary here is if you look at the thousands of incidents of these guys doing this very thing in N.Y. and N.J., is that clearly, someone within the court system is affording some special privlege to some one. Never is a default denied, and never is a motion to set aside granted.

Not only am I defending myself in their specious action against me, I'm going to file complaints with the displinary committees of the bar associations of New York and New Jersey and sue them in the U.S. District Court of my home state for their violations of my state's extra protections (like this sort of illegal practice of law), without disputing the debt so they can hollar "res judicata", to tag them for the fact they try to spew their nonsense into other states.

They'll think again.

If there is any class action pending against them, or LARIDIAN CONSULTING, (they say, ahem, they are not one and the same...and such trustworthy officers of the Court!) I would be happy to be a member. Also, when I file my federal action, I will put up a web site with all pertinent information and progress stats.
