The second time while in for repair, with the engine still ripped down, a fire starts and totals the van. Malouf Ford billed Fidelty Warranty (over $2000.00 ) for the entire cost to complete the job, which was never completed.
I made Fidelity aware of the situation and they diplomatically told me that it might strain the relationship between them. The only relationship they have is to screw the people who purchased cars and warranties through them.

Be thankful they paid the claim

At least now when you get your settlement for the vehicle they will not withold the cost of the tear down out. You should be able to get full compensation for your Windstar since it was totaled and apparently the dealers responsibility.
