And, major phone companies, let them do it! Outrageous!
My Embarq phone bill was billed, glad I caught it.. If your phone bill is automatically drafted from your checking account.. you've probably been paying for the service.
When I called Embarq they gave me the number of United Tel 800-879-4653.
The person I talked to was willing to cancel my service.. but at first didnt agree to refund the first charge.. Finally he did.. We will see on my next phone bill.
Embarq did put on my phone number, so they said, a block to prevent futher, what they call third party billers..
Thanks for this site so we all can be made aware.. of these Internet Scammers..
