Fine Food & Wine Cruise is filing bankruptcy and canceling all of its wine cruises. It has already canceled the Merry Edwards Wine Cruise scheduled for June 2013 in Europe and has now canceled the Tobin James Wine Cruise scheduled for April 2013 in Tahiti. This has affected 100 people with Merry Edwards and 300 people with Tobin James. They have another specialty cruise company, Shoes Only Travel, that has 4 cruises scheduled with Paul Gauguin over the next 2 years. If you have booked with Shoes Only Travel I would beware that you too may be canceled. Because of the terms of the Travel Guard insurance, this financial default is not covered under their insurance. As we find out more about our recourse, I will post updates.
