I ordered 4 appliances that were shown in the catalog, as being made by Proctor Silex, ,coffee maker, mixer, can opener and toaster, all in St. Croix colors. After they arrived, I put them in my kitchen to use, the can opener will not open a can and the coffee pot, quit working one week after I received them.
I called Proctor silex to find out where , locally, I could get them repaired or replaced, In each box, there was a Proctor Silex warrantee,
Proctor Silex informed that according to the serial numbers on the appliances, these were not proctor silex, products and there was nothing they could, do, that the company had obviously, deceived me into thinking that the appliances were proctor silex when in fact they are fakes.
Fingerhut, has not answered my mail, concerning this.
