I was picked to work at a marketing business selling perfume and owning my own business. the building didnt specify the name of their business i had a hard time finding directions for it as google could not find results for their so-called product line. i have heard many stories regarding this is a scam and is illegal. i am glad i stumbled upon those sites or i would have been in more debt than i already am in . when i looked up scentura creations i couldnt find the people who interviewed me names on the site. and i found out they go by scentura creations but use different names. SCAM. also i thought it was odd that they wanted to pay me in cash and not check. also saying i'd be guaranteed to make 30-35000 a yr. i took off work to go to that meeting and wasted my gas to later find out my job i took off for to go to the scentura interview had let me go, so now im left with no job and hoping unemployment kicks in. if it sounds to good to be true, it most likely is. i heard people who started the program when they were promised that after their training they were to make 2700 a week and those people were asked to solicit and go in parking lots and try to get people to buy their products which is totally illegal. also the people who went through their training had said they were lucky to make 7 dollars a week and the people they got to buy their product was their family cause no on else would buy it. i am so heated over this.

TAKING ACTION AND GETTING AN OFFICE SHUT DOWN!

The life-blood of these offices is the classified ads. If their classifieds are no longer allowed in the newspapers the distributor will not be able to place their ads and the pyramid will collapse. They will be forced to close down shop and move to an area where the local papers have yet to catch on.

The first thing you have to do is write a letter or email to the newspaper classifieds as well as websites where these ads are placed. Be sure to keep it professional. If you live in a large metropolitan area this could take a lot of work so be patient and stick with it. Read other newspapers classifieds and search other job sites to find more of these ads and send letters/emails to them.

Before sending the letter it is important to include;

If the letter doesnt work, send another more stern letter. Then send letters to other news sources warning them of the misleading ads. This way they wont be able to advertise elsewhere as a back up plan.

Send multiple letters or emails if you have to.

You can find some sample letters in the thread below. They were posted by JD back in 2005. Just know the letters are a bit dated so be sure to make them as professional and up-to-date as possible. There are tons of websites that can give advice on writing good professional letters.

I'm sorry nikki.  I'm sorry that you're so skeptical that you have nothing going on in your life.  I've never met Floyd and Keisha, but I'm sure they are very nice people.  The only thing I know about them is that they are new Executive Managers for the largest Region in our business.  And the person that put them into business is a multi-millionaire.

An averaged Manager Trainee that completes the training will make about $300 a week in bonuses and sales profits.  But you'll never know that.

Where is the scam?  You went in for a interview.  That's it.  This business has worked well for me.  I hope it works well for Floyd and Keisha, and it's worked well for hundreds of others.  And hopefully Ms. Nikki for your sake your unemployment kicks in.  What a waste.

Good Luck Blow-outs and Best Wishes
