Firestone Complaint Auto Care - RIPPED OFF/DUPED Grand Prairie, Texas

It took two visits to Firestone to realize they are shady.   This was over 10 years ago so it appears nothing has changed and probably never will. 

I would like to state that Firestone franchise are not doing what they should be doing and yes they have people working for them who shouldn't be working on vehicles in the first place as my self being a A S E level 2 automotive tech with over 30 plus yrs in this business i have seen shops like this and yes we call the part throwers for one simple reason they do it hoping it fixes the problem or they call the customers cash cow's meaning they will milk it for what it's worth to them to make there numbers look good

furthermore what has happened here is that the shop manager should of done his job and he didn't as it's his job to make sure that the tech has made the wright diagnoses,

as he did not do the proper procedure what so ever in this case and most likely many more and over the past 16yrs Firestone has lost good techs cause they do not want to pay them what they are worth so they hire the less experience one so they can save money and the same go's for the service manager who has never ever work on a vehicle in his life or young kid with know automotive knowledge the other thing is they are paid by flat rate meaning what ever the book calls for that's what they get paid for and during that process that so called tech rushes and then you are left with a big problem are all like this yes and no so now i say this all ways get a third opinion and all ways ask for your old part's and for most find out how thing work on your vehicles and what dose what.

cause a well informed consumer will not fall victim to bad business practise or ripoff cause in today's world the automotive business is one of the leading ripoffs cause wen a customer says i do not no they see dollar signs so if you feel you have been wrong go to your local DMV and file a complaint to have there garage number fined or even pulled as DMV has that power to do so and for some reason you do not see there garage number ask them if they say no then they are not a licenced and can not perform any kind of automotive repair plus make sure there techs A S E certificates are current and what they are certified in the other problem is some are book smart but can't do it as of late not once have i seen A S E check to see if said tech is trained or had training,  so that's why now some of my time is spent going to court for customers who paid for work that didn't need to be done or it was not done properly or a miss diagnoses furthermore they failed to do a driveability test or lube the bushings to see if that help if they did it then they would know as most manufactures recommended to inspect and lube all moving parts so in a nut shell they failed to solve here problem and she should not half to pay for there own mistakes as for the vehicle being 5yrs old yes she would need struts and the strut bushing do go bad but hard to say cause i can not see them so there you go.

   Just like Firestone you don't like anyone to tell the truth because it might cause you to lose something you wheren't entitled to to begin with.

   My experience at Firestone is,I took my truck for an inspection and they told me I needed new shocks,so being that it was already in the garage I said go ahead and throw them on.So I went to sit down and the kid comes that works behind the counter comes over and says that the mechanic wants to see me,so I go out there and he asks me do you know that all the studs on this one wheel is stripped.I won't go into the rest because they didn't pay for it.But I can tell you that my vehicles rarely go to a garage,plus I always torque my lugs to 100 pounds.Also to have all 5 lugs stripped instead of 1 or 2,is something of a mystery,maybe to you or them.

   Now let's get to your problem,you have had a problem with me because of the parts deal where I told everyone how people are raped on the parts for they're vehicle and people like you think they can charge anything they want any time they want. 

   So with that said YOU and Firestone can try to take me anywhere you like because I would love to show America the truth.The process of doing it report by report is way to slow.

   Another thing you might consider,some people have integrity,do you know what that is?

   One thing about this,is I don't make a dime from anything I say on here so why would I be lieing.Also if I tell the truth maybe people like you and them won't make a dime either.

   Now you have opened a great big can of worms so let's sort them out.

I can't remember what you just did is called. Slander or ???

   Firestone is nothing more than parts changers,and they will actually break parts so they can change them.They just keep changing parts untill they get it right or you are broke which ever comes first.
