On March 5 2012 I took my car to Firestone cause I had squeak every time I would brake. I was told my rear rotors& brakes were bad. So I told them to fix it. My total bill came to $571.72 I work in the DC,MD,VA area but I do not live there. I keep a car there cause of work.
March 15 2012 Because I do not live in the area and I had vacation I wanted to leave my car ready so I would not have to do it when I got back in April. So I took it to get a rotation&balance from NTB cause I have life time with them. Then I would take it back to Firestone cause I have lifetime alignment. NTB service guy Rob told me my car rear brakes are but had cracked cause the rotors are bad. Shocked! I told him to fix it all AGAIN. Looking at the invoice NTB gave me. I got my Firestone one and pointed out. The charge for Rotors he told me my car never had new rotors. I had noticed the new ones on. He gave me my old no good rotors told me go get your $back from Firestone.
I show the guy(Derek)at Firestone to look at the new rotors then I show him the old ones I had in my back seat. (This is where I get upset) He stated that how could he be sure that Firestone did not give me the rotors. I told him first of all why would I have old no good rotors in my car. Then he asked why didn't I just brings the car back to them.
Telling him why would I if the job was not done correct the first time how could I trust them a second. With all said and done. He returned $back to my card(yet to see in account) Next day a manager(Mike/Mark) called to apologize for everything. Then his guy tells me that there was a miss communication between the technician and the desk clerk(Travis) on 3-5-12. That the part was not in.Bull then your guy Travis should have told me that Firestone did not have rotors for my car in stock and not charge me for no parts and service. I was more upset at they way the Derek guy handled the situation instead of him saying OMG we are so sorry about this How could that have happened No he wanted to make me feel like I was wrong. I would not be reporting to everyone How bad the service is. Not being for Rob& guys at NTB they would have gotten away with sorry job and me with no new rotors.
