I have been paying into First American Home Buyer Protection Corporation for over 8 years. This is my second claim, and the first one was minor. The Dishwasher in my Condo, rental would not pump out the water. I informed First American on 11/29, and they had their repair Company Best Repair contact me. After waiting 2 days I contacted Best, and the owner, Daniel informed me that the money they allowed would not cover the repair, and he was waiting for their approval. I waited another 2 days, and was told that the Repair Company never contacted them. I contacted Daniel at Best, and said that wasn't true, and he called them again. They then said that the invoice got misplaced, and they would then have to get approval from purchasing. Meanwhile, my tenants cannot use their dishwasher. Every time I call, I get a different person with a different line of crap. On my last call Friday, Dec. 7th, I was told to call again on Monday, and they might have a disposition for me. This unacceptable, and I told them that I was about the call the Fraud Division of the State Attorney General's Office. I don't hold up their monthly premium, and I don't expect them to hold up my repair!
