First Commerce credit union
1. Family member - We are still trying to figure out Nick C. actual e-commerce job title. So he gets approved for a created position that really can be done by someone else, a great salary for 80 hrs every two weeks, purchased a home owned by the credit union, and can leave at anytime he wants throughout the day.
However, In exceptional cases where the relative clearly demonstrates to have unique and unusual skills necessary for the position and these skills are not readily available in the labor market, a waiver may be requested. When such conditions exist, a written request for a waiver must be submitted to Human Resources for approval.
In cases where a waiver has been approved, an individual may be in a position to effect personnel actions (such as initial employment, retention, promotion, salary, work assignments, leaves of absence, etc.) affecting members of that staff member’s immediate and extended family. Prior authorization for these personnel actions must come from the staff member’s department head or the next higher level of supervision. HR manager approve or board approved or CEO approved
2. Human Resource - Donna M. used a racial comment and was demoted but still employed. Maybe she knows something. Their is currently a lawsuit pending regarding another racial slur. This was a direct comment by one of the senior managers Carla D. to a person who of course is no longer employed at the credit union.
3. A long time employee has just been fired this week. The reason "quality contol" is what was termed for the reason but could have easily been looked at differently just like those racial comments.
4. We should expect a survey monkey soon based on this report.
Committed to you,
WB

The company noted above takes pride in our team members (all hired and regularly reviewed in accordance with our policies and held to our high standards), who work to provide remarkable service to our members every day. We also diligently work to foster a culture of respect. And while we know it is impossible to please everyone all of the time, we regularly solicit feedback from team members, members, and the community at large via surveys and other tools -- taking that information into serious consideration.
Additionally, we encourage anyone who would like to discuss our policies and procedures or provide feedback to contact the credit union at 850.488.0035, ext. 3540.

All I can say is this certainly sounds like a pissed off employee and a lot of BS. If you hate your job so much and the people you work with...here's an idea...LEAVE!
