FCNB a.k.a. Card Processing Center:
Everyone who has been a victim should call and lodge a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and their state attorney general. First, I was not notified that FCNB sold their credit accounts to Card Processing Center (CPC) after Spiegel filed for bankruptcy. Thus, when I send my payment to FCNB, but the time CPC got it, I was charged a late fee. CPC then failed to send me monthly statements and when I forgot to pay, they magically billed me double the next month when they managed to send me a statement. I have not received a paper statement from them in at least 4 months. There is no customer service phone line and all compliants must be submitted in writing.
