My husband and I are in the process of purchasing a home, and while examining our credit report to verify the debt-to-income ratio, I noticed that FCNB shows a balance due of $976. I'm not sure of the exact date I paid it off, but I am pretty sure that it was for a settlement balance. It was paid somewhere between 5 and 6 years ago!
