The First Consumers accounts were sold to First National Bank of Omaha when the bankruptcy proceedings occured. Hence the mailing address changed to Omaha for payments. However check your statements when crediting the payments they note Atlanta, GA. This is what causes the delay of posting accounts!!

The Omaha bank is forwarding payments from Omaha to Atlanta for deposits This drags out the time to credit the accounts and allow them to place new fees for late or overlimit to the account. If no one has filed a class action--Report your issues with this Rip-off bank to the Comptroller of the Currency, who actually regulates the national banks go to http://www.occ.treas.gov/index.htm.

Sorry John, your information is incorrect.

My research has found that First National do not actually own the accounts, they are the substitute servicer for the actually owners.
The Omaha post office box, is the high speed processing center.
The Atlanta address is the service center, for mailing statements, handling correspondence, and for those people who do not include a payment stub with their payment or do not write the complete account number on their check or money order, at which point, someone has to manually search for the proper account to credit.
The later, would cause a delay.
I understand they offer a website to make payments electronically from your checking or savings account, additionally I understand you
can post date your payment (to make sure your payment posts on time).
