Search TipsIncorrect. Things have changed drastically with the expansion of the internet and changes to US law. Electronic "signatures" are binding in contracts executed over the internet.
First of all, if they cannot provided ou with a hard copy of your signature saying that you agree with their terms they can't charge you a dime.
Threat you banker that you will be closing all your accounts with them because they are endorsing those practices.
Third, Close the bank account affiliated with the merchant services so they won't take more money out of your account.
Fourth, contact a Sunthrust regional manager and let him know about this situation
Fifth, if everything fails, contact your state attorney and FTC and file a complaint.

Secondly, the 90 inactivity closure is listed in the Merchant Program Guide. The program guide is a separate document from the contract, and is about 30+ pages. Read the contract fine print, by signing the contract or online agreement, you are agreeing to be bound by their terms in the program guide.
Unfortunately, all the information I've given you should have been explained by your Suntrust's Sales Rep and/or Customer Service. However, having worked with them, I'm not suprised.

It is listed in the Program Guide that your account can be cancelled after 90 days of inactivity. If you are still under your 3 year contract, the Early Term. Fee can be applied.
