First Data Will Steal Your Money and Charge You For It!!! Greenwood Village Colorado

THESE PEOPLE WILL ROB YOU. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER.
I switched to this company because they were recommended due to their low fees. It took about 10 days to switch, so I had credit card charges that were backing up.
I informed the person who handled my account that this was the case and that I would be running approximately $18k worth of credit cards (about a months worth of sales) as soon as the sign up was complete. I asked the person if there were going to be any issues, they assured me that it was common and that I would get all my money within 48 hours of processing the cards.
On February 12 we processed the cards. On February 16 the money was deposited in my account.

On March 11, I was reconciling my books and noticed my account was very short. I then noticed that the day before (March 10, 2009) there was a charge for $7,000 to my account. No notice or anything. I called First Data to find out what in the world was going on and they said that since there was a lot of charges all at once, they were going to keep $7000, just in case.

I explained to them that they could have created a HUGE problem by STEALING the money with NO NOTICE. I explained that the money was put in my account almost a month earlier and there had been No chargebacks. If they had an issue with the charges, they never should have put the money in my account.

They said it's the way they do business. They then stated that they wanted receipts for the goods I sold so that I could prove they were mine. I asked them did they have any reason to believe that I was selling stolen goods, as everything I sold was ABSOLUTELY mine. They stated they just wanted to make sure.

I still cannot get my money. I cancelled their service as of April 1, 2009 and these clowns went into my account and charged me on April 4 for my next months services.
THEY ARE THIEFS!! DO NOT USE THEM.
