We are the attorneys for First Deposit Capital and Neil Camenker. We wanted to set the facts straight and respond to a libelous false statement that was posted on 6/24/2008, as follows:

1.)First Deposit Capital and Neil Camenker are a licensed California Lender. License number 603-F098.

2.) The posting is false and was either placed by a competitor or by an applicant that had their loan turned down.

Loans can be and are turned down by this lender as well as by any lender for a variety of reasons including but not limited to the fact that the property does not appraise for the value that the applicant expected or that the applicant provides false or incomplete information, that once discovered renders the borrower not credit worthy. These facts are not usually discovered by a lender until after an independent appraisal is paid for and when the due diligence is completed including verifying the information the applicant provides.
