In this letter, the "debt" is CLEARLY identified as "OOS" which stands for OUT OF STATUTE, which means LEGALLY UNCOLLECTABLE!!
I told them in my letter that due to this blatant frivolous collections attempt, they will be billed for my time at the rate of $60 an hour plus costs. I included a bill for $66.00! I feel that this is not at all out of line in light of the $16467.72 bill they sent me!
Also, they send the letter from NY, but claim to be in FL. If the letter comes from NY, that is engaging in collections activity in NY. I need to see a debt collection license in NY for them.

Time to saturate a fax machine! I love dealing with crackheads like this. It is like a sport. Some people fish, some hunt, some race cars. I do debt collectors! After all, a person needs a hobby, right?
