After reading a rip off report on first federal coin or gov mint or preferred or what ever they currently call them selves ,I had to share how they got me too . They advertise w many financial news letters w big glossy photos and well worded write ups then after a few "normal purchases" you get the "Well I dont know if this is in your price range but we have this amazing set ONLY #### of them made and graded in ms 69 or ms 70 .Example 2 oz gold koala coin from the perth mint graded pf 70 only 200 minted (yeh every year ) $ 9000 , or the Japanese panda coins 5 coins almost 2 oz of gold graded ms 69 that heritage auctions wanted to buy all they had at their selling price. I cpurchased this set a year later (or less) I called heritage to inquire about their interest in these and although they where interested it wasnt any where near the price I was told . Heritage said they would love to have it for around 50 % less than what I paid . After contacting first fed about this concern they where willing to take back that set but none of the many others that I purchased and will lose at least 60 % on .although the company probably gave the sales man Frank Driver a pat on the back for making the sale, this "Great Investment " according to them , will take the money I (a blue collar construction worker ) have struggled to save and waste it on something I will NEVER get my money back from. They lie and pressure the sale making you believe that there is gold at the end of the rainbow.WELL THERE ISN"T it's just a bottomless pit that will never be filled no matter how many of us hard working people they screw. Hat's off first fed ya got me !
