They allowed a minor to sign stating that her step brother was 18 and he co-signed although me as the parent did not authorize the contract. After several calls I was told they would immediately cancel the membership and I would receive no refund and no further charges.
My step son has received two charges to his account as the "co-signer" which they sent through 3 times each which caused overdraft fees of $35.00 each time for a total of 6 $35.00 charges. each time I call in they say it takes 30 days to cancel but there are notes in their system that states it was a immediate cancel per Diana.
I have spoke to Diana and she stated the cancellation was immediate but now she will not return a call or answer her phone, there is no other managers and when asked to go to her manager or a escalation department the customer service reps just hang up on you.
I would like an attorney to contact me to file fraud charges, credit card fraud, extortion, robbery, money stealing, contract fraud with a minor, misrepresentation, bait and switch, falsley preying on minors. and any other charges that can be brought against this joke of a institution.

- If your Step Son is at least 18 it doesn't matter if YOU gave your permission or not, you are no longer legally in control of your step son's actions. As an adult(yes even if he only turned 18 that same day) he is legally responsible for his actions. So unfortnatly your step son would be the one you need to be upset at...or perhaps a better thing would be to treat this as a learning experience for ALL involved and that includes YOU.
He signed as a "co-signer" meaning he is taking legal responsibility for the payment of the account if the primary account holder doesn't. Since the primary didn't pay it...they got the money from him. It is not this companies fault if your son failed to have enough money in his account.
At most you may have a civil case if you can prove that at any time you can prove that they didn't follow any WRITTEN agreemment that your step son signed. But my guess is that they haven't.
Credit Card Fraud - If your Step Son is 18 he freely gave his credit card information..no fraud.
Extortion - Really? Did they say they would take care of this if you did something?
Robbery - Again Really? There was no force here your Step son freely gave his information
Money Stealing - ?????? Is that a new crime.
Contract Fraud with a Minor - If your Step Son is 18 it doesn't matter if the other person is under 18 as he is taking the legal responsibilty
Bait and Switch - Where?
Now, if by chance your Step Son is under 18, it is very simple. Go to your bank file a dispute saying that he is a minor that signed a contract and they should refund the money and the charges.
