Complaint Review: Fleet Credit Card Services
Fleet Credit Card Servicescards.fleet.com Wilmington, Delaware U.S.A.
Fleet Credit Card Services Fleet refuses to lower my 21+% APR even though they admit that I am in EXCELLENT standing with them and that I have EXCELLENT credit They also do an unnecessary check on my credit report EVERY MONTH for the past two years Wilmington Delaware
Another issue with them that really bother me is that, after viewing my TransUnion credit report it shows that they do an inquiry on my credit every single month, and that this was has been going on consistently every month for years. I don't know if constant inquiries like this have negative effects on your credit score like people say they do, but regardless I see these monthly checks as unnecessary so I contacted Fleet, now Fleet/Bank of America about it and asked them to please discontinue doing so. Some ignorant representative told me that they were just informing the credit bureaus every month that I still had an account with them. NONSENSE! Credit card bureaus' do not need a credit card company to check in with them every month to tell them that you still have an account with them.
They really have horrible customer service ethics and I'm not surprised that I'm not the only one with a gripe about them.
