I was terminated as an Admissions Representative for Florida Technical College due to what they determined as "performance issues"...this basically means that I had not enrolled students into the May 9, 2011 start to their standards. I simply ask myself and all of you; how can you determine this on April 22, 2011 as to what I will enroll on May 9, 2011? I had been an excellent employee, worked 116 hrs in a two wk pay period, had never been late nor sick and all of my co-worker's were shocked and could not believe that they actually terminated me. This school is so not in compliance with many issues; personal being, in my opinion, the worst...here is just one case in point: The current Director of Admissions had a potential student who was in the hospital with a tumor come to class so that he could have his enrollment number on the "board"; she came to school, everyone was alarmed because she looked as if she needed serious medical treatment...she died the next day. I do not think I need to say more...do not ever enroll with this school; they are only out for your money..I have worked for several private schools as an Admissions Rep and I have never seen such horrible behavior and lack of true investment in our craft. We are here to truly change people's lives for the better, these people (obviously) do not care and are only there for your money. I'm sad that I was fired; yet happy because I know that I always acted as a true professional and I enrolled quality students whom will graduate and hopefully live a great life.
