I wanted to order my mom flowers just because. I ordered them on June 28th and wanted them to be delivered on July 3rd. Since it is summer and it gets 105 degrees here I agreed to the additional charge to have them delivered by noon. After I paid (using pay pal) I received my receipt but no where on it did it show my card message. I emailed Customer Service to make sure my message would arrive with the flowers and never heard a response. July 3rd I called at 8am my time to make sure they would be delivered on time. They looked it up in the computer and said Yes it shows it will be there by noon. They couldn't tell me what local florist they were using due to their contract.
12:30 rolls around and still no flowers so I make another phone call. They are sorry and they will contact the seller via email (they told me due to their contract they can only contact the florist via email) and let me know what's going on so for me to call back in an hour. [continued below]....
..... Hello!? I paid extra to have them delivered 30 minutes ago!! I call back at 1:30 and of course get someone else. They again tell me they have to send an email and to call back in yep you guessed it, one more hour! At 2:30 I call and they have no idea what the florist isnt getting back to them and before they credit me the additional charge for having them delivered by noon they must first get confirmation from the florist that they did not deliver on time. I called back when I got off work at 3:30 and said They have until 5 to deliver the flowers or I want a full refund. 5:00 rolls around and still no flowers so I call my credit card company and report FRAUD.
I then call the floristexpress.net back and demand to speak to a supervisor or someone in charge. The lady tells me she cant transfer me until she gets my order number. So I rambled it off to her. She then asked May I ask why you want to speak to a supervisor?> I said No. She said I cant transfer you unless you tell me. Well my patience had run thin so I went off. She put me on hold for a minute then came back. I asked who she was going to transfer me to she said she didn't know. I said you dont know who your supervisor is? she said there's more than one I'm transferring you to the one available. I said fine, what's their name? and she couldn't tell me!! I spoke to Jeff who was in Customer Services. He was very sympathetic that I ordered this 5 days ago and still have no flowers. He told me I couldnt get my refund until they contacted the florist and found out why they didnt deliver. He said he was going to call them and then call me back on the number listed. I said Youre going to call them? The people I've spoke to before said they couldnt call them due to contract so they could only communicate via email. He said I'm going to tell you that that is a lie. We can call them. WOW!! I said Jeff it's been a long day how about you just put me on hold, give them a call and then switch back over and tell me what's going on?! He agreed. A few minutes later he came back and said he was unable to get ahold of them but will keep trying and will call me back. I said I have already reported your company as fraud to my credit card. Well that seemed to change everything! He said well you didnt have to do that. We'll give you your money back as soon as we found out why the florist didnt deliver. I said it doesnt matter WHY they didnt deliver the point is I ordered it days ago and ya'll cant seem to get ahold of them!! 6am the next morning I got an email from my credit card company AND floristexpress.net of my money back. _winning._From now on when I want to order flowers I'll pick up the phone and call the local florist myself!
