Well, I have to pay for all text messages, and not only did I not want the horoscope, it was actually the wrong sign that they kept sending me. I went back online to "unsuscribe" - several times - but to no avail.
I found rip-off report.com and was able to acquire the phone number and address to the site. I called several times, but was only allowed to leave a message. Each time was without results.
The last time, I did not punch in "0" for the operator, and finally spoke to a human being. He sent me to Extension 422 - where I was able to speak to a tech. According to him, I am now officially unsuscribed.
I will keep you posted as time progresses. If you are having a tough time with flycell.com, call them at 212-400-1212, and punch in ext 422 when asked. Again, I am not yet convinced that this has worked, but it took me over a week of persistence to speak to someone.
I would suggest that you stay clear of flycell.com altogether.

Flycell.com ripoff

You are correct, I did not read the entire agreement section for flycell.com - most people do not. So in that respect, I was in error.
However, your response to mine suggests that I did not try hard enough to when attempting to cancel the "free" suscription. I must tell you I did all of the things that you and your so-called friend did and then some. Apparently, Flycell was not monitoring their "unsuscribe" requests for quite a period of time. The person that I spoke to on the phone seemed surprised that things were not working out properly, and that the "unsuscribe" options "should" have been in proper working order. So, through no fault of my own, I was stuck with them for about a week - and was charged $18.00 for nothing but headaches.
Now, the tone of your letter to me is typical of someone who does not have all of the facts straight and assumes that everyone else in the world is an idiot. I can assure you that there are plenty of intelligent people out there (quite possibly more intelligent than yourself) who know how to get things done in a proper manner. This forum is not designed for those who believe that they possess all of the light. It is designed to offer warning and caution to others who might get ripped off - hence the name of the site.
In conclusion, I had to have Flycell blacklisted from my cell phone number through my carrier so they could not charge me any more. The matter is now over as far as I am concerned with flycell.com. However, I am certain that the arrogance of Karch the know-it-all from NY will live on forever.

Also, click "Contact Support" and it gives you a way to email the company. Choose "Unsubscribe" as the subject of your message and send them you cell number. My buddies did this and said they got confirmation text messages and e-mails within 24 hours.
Like me, in the future you may want to take time to read what you are agreeing to and understand free doesn't always mean free on the internet.
