Mario claims to run a pet transport business except he is unlicensed. He transports sick animals without health certificates therefore endangering other animals during the transport. He actually pulled a dog from a shelter that was released on a medical waiver, where he claimed that he would get the dog medical attention and never did. The dog died shortly after being transported. His vehicle is too small and he leaves the dogs loose in the car, uncrated and not secure. Once again, dangerous in the event of an accident. Mario charges ridiculous rates and raises and or adjusts them like the wind blows. He negotiates one rate and then when it comes time to transport he raises it if the transport is not full. He then proceeds to call people names on his facebook page if they refuse to pay his ridiculous rates. He makes sure the transport pays for his vacation back to the east coast each time to see family. When there is some mishap, he asks people on his facebook page to chipp in money to cover his vehicle repairs and hotel bills when in fact he is charging $800.00 per dog and this is what he is charging rescues ! I would recommend finding a legitimate transport company !

He stalks woman who dont give him the money he wants...
He trashes and threatens people when they speak out against him...

Apparently, the increased scrutiny has caused this "so called transport business" to cease posting animals transports on facebook. In his own words, he clearly states that a web site will allow him to post his information without the opportunity for those familiar with his business, or those who have had a negative experience to comment. Basically, all along he has just blocked anyone who dared to question his ethics or behavior so that he could post derogatory comments about them without the fear of rebuttal. upon not only my business but my name and character as well has become too
much,I have dealt with the constant harassment online for almost 2 years and I
can no longer be subjected to it..I urge ANYONE seeking the best animal

Morning all...as soon as I get back to LA I am hiring a metal worker to build a custom cage system for the Flying B..If my measurments are correct I should be able to have cage space for 10 large dogs..should cost no more than 500.00 but the utilized space will be above and beyond worth it..
Apparently this small vehicle is about to be converted into something that resembles a puppy mill. Please take a moment to review the size of this "Flying B" and then imagine a conversion of the cargo area that can be used to transport 10 large breed dogs and you will come to the conclusion that this is not a humane way to transport 10 dogs! Maybe 10 Chi's or Pugs but not 10 German Shepherds! Of course, the post was probably a way to garner funds as some are already supposedly posting his Paypal account information in an attempt to fund this conversion.
One can not tell people how to spend their hard earned money but one may certainly attempt to open the eyes of those who are too gullible and naive to see past the poetry and the bull. Some woman actually posted that she is on a fixed income but prepared to send him money via Paypal to assist with this important conversion. Is this how a reputable business operates? A business that relies on the generosity of others just to cover vehicle maintenance costs is not a business, it is sham!
I believe that some of us are still waiting to see the USDA transport license that he claims to possess but I don't think that will ever happen.

I think the idea is that this all goes back to why your at this site. Lets retrace. The initial post was about complaints about Flying B and owner Mario. He immediately as always points to Tina Pollard as the source of his poblem here. It clearly wasn't her as she attached her name to entries here. His pathology which is clear to most but not all is that he is a victim of a smear campaign usually blamed on Tina. So the last post was an effort I think show evidence of his pathology of always being victimized. No one is questioning his irrational response to manager of a low end motel or his venomous remarks pertaining to children being children. Just that once again he's a victim. And if things don't go his way watch out ,you've got a madman on our hands. I think it's just more evidence of his pathology of how he runs his con game. I think that was the point.

When you rent a room at ANY hotel there is a general expectation of being able to have a reasonable level of service. This covers things from noise, treatment/behavior of staff etc etc. Certainly things are different in a Hilton BUT it doesn't mean that just b/c a cheaper hotel was chosen automatically means you also have to put up w unwarranted levels of noise.
I am curious however as to just what this has to do w whether or not Mario provides a reliable, reasonably priced and most of all trustworthy transport service..... Clearly you are being vindictive and showing just how desperate you are to besmirch his name...
It is after all very simple. If you do not like the service he provides then go find another.

Got My sh*t packed went to the font desk went off on management got my money back and hit the f*cking road Jack...YOU SUCK SUPER MOTEL 8..

It's truly sickening to see how the animals are exploited for his benefit. He continues to blame others and stir the pot when he can address the accusations in a sane manner and be done with it. I'm sure law enforcement won't have a difficult time spotting his low profile unobvious car. It's just a recipe for disaster. It's okay if he suffers the consequences of his choices but so not fair to as he refers to them"his charges". Why do so many consign his insanity. It's mind boggling. There must be so many better choices for animals than this person. Why would anyone subject an animal to these risks.

Apparently Mario and the Flying "B" Transport Company will no longer be posting pictures of the animals as they travel because of the scrutiny over previous photos depicting animals uncrated and loose in the vehicle as well as animals sleeping with a loaded weapon next to them. There has also been absolutely nothing to support his claim that he has a USDA license to transport animals. If he has nothing to hide, then why is he not coming forward with the supportive documentation?

I recently had Mario bring me 2 German Shepherds, one of which he had to take to the vet before the trip began even(delaying his trip a day)due to the shelter and a botched neuter job. He fostered my boys after the shelter rescued them. I sent the rescue $700 for both boys(Idon't know how much went to Mario) and payed the vet bill to the vet directly for the boy who needed to go, Mario asked me for no more money and didn't treat me rudely when I didn't chip in more when his car broke down and he had extra expenses. I opened my home to him one night along his trip for him to rest, so I got to know him some and I know he cares deeply about his transports, and would do anything in his power to make them more comfortable. He leaves them uncrated for their comfort, and I don't believe he transports more dogs than he can handle or safely carry.
I don't care what address he uses or whatnot, my own drivers license is not from the state I live in, I'm a military wife, we move often. What matters is how he cares for the animals. The petty bickering and all the slanderous ranting really should stop, from all parties involved.
Mario is definetly a transporter I would use again, and that I will recommend to anyone I come across who needs one. And if he ever comes thru the area and needs a place to stay with the dogs again, he has a place here. That's the way it should be in this community, not hate filled slander.
He took great care of my dogs(giving the one his medicine and putting some weight on the poor underweight boys), who arrived healthy(as they could) and happy to my home. I will always be thankful to him for all he did.

As I continue to read this, I see nothing but a character assassination. There are obviously numerous people who have used Mario's services and are very happy with it, in fact, so happy they continue to find new clients and more opportunities for him. Let's stop wasting everyone's time and get back to rescuing! I'm so sick and tired of the petty backstabbing crap that diverts everyone's attention away from the real issues at hand. If people spent as much time rescuing and educating the public regarding animals as they do bickering and attacking people's character, imagine how many more dogs we could rescue!! Let's get back to the DOGS and saving lives!

If you are going to write a rebuttal at least use an adult level sophistication of grammar NOT that of a 10 year old...This is the mentality level of people that we legitimate animal rescue people have to deal with on a constant,daily basis..Evil,nasty trolls who seek to bring chaos,anger,unrest and general HATE into animal rescue..it COMPLETELY takes away from the one common goal of saving animals lives..It sickens me to see it on so many levels in animal rescue on a daily basis..

Mario does not just fly off the handle. you have got to do something to put the animals in jeopardy for him to go off and even then he does not go off on the animals but the person or persons who put the animal in jeopardy to begin with. I have seen every picture he has posted and i have never once seen anything that would harm the dogs.
With larger dogs they tend to be able to handle turns in a car better then smaller dogs which is why i would guess he puts the smaller ones in cages. As far as the car being to small.... that would be like saying a volkswagen is a small car. from the outside yes but very spacious inside.
Onto the issue of Mario asking for handouts. I have never once seen any post where he was asking for money. the only post i have ever seen referring to money being sent to him were for bracelets he is selling to raise awareness of animal cruelty........ hmmmm he is really starting to sound like a real evil guy isn't he. somebody who loves animals and wants to help them.
As far as Facebook goes yes he has called women filthy names as he has also done with guys. nothing bias about that as Shellie would have everybody to believe. If you fit the bill then pay up. Shellie may be one of the women he refused to leave any of the animals at's house do to fearing their safety. that he has done.
I can relate and speak on the issue on Mario's behalf because i do the same as he does except i do not just work with dogs but with all animals alike. if it is a snake, rabbit, cat, dog, horse what ever the animal. you look at people and make false reports to hurt their credibility because you are a scorned old bitty then you are the one out to hurt the animals. but you do not look at it this way..... you just see it as hurting somebody you feel did wrong by you.

If you were worried about the animals and not your pride you would have never posted lies like you have. Animal rescuers are a close knit group much like animal abusers. which are you?
oh and lets not forget he takes all his sick transports to the vet for the ok before he hits the road. as for the animals fighting..... you let animals be around one another for at least a few days to get acquainted with one another so if there was going to be a problem you could crate the two up to prevent issues. what do you think people do when they big a new animal into a house with other animals..... let them attack one another then transport them together to the vet. hello use your god given brain before it goes to waste more then it already has.

Thank for the great article posted regarding healthcerts, here's an excerpt that actually conceeds that that they are only needed when the dogs are transported for commerce, adopting a shelter dog is not commerce!
"Because the interstate transport of puppies and dogs for adoption or rescue (rather than for sale) is not an activity regulated under the federal Animal Welfare Act, there is no federal oversight of the conditions under which these dogs are transported. However, all dogs transported in commerce by USDA-licensees or registrants must be accompanied by a valid veterinary health certificate issued within 10 days of transport."

There are safety issues in his vehicle. Now seven large dogs are going on his next transport. How can you jam 7 large dogs uncrated in a vehicle that is way too small? How is that even comfortable? What happens if a fight would start with the dogs and he is traveling at 80 miles per hour? When he travels with small dogs he loads the crates on top of each other strapped with bungee cords blocking his vision in many of the pictures he posts of himself and or the dogs sometimes even while driving. That is also insafe. If he can get away with not crating on some of his transports he will do this so he can jam more dogs in his too small vehicle. What is extremely disturbing are the pictures he posts where he stages one of his guns that he brings on these trips next to one of the dogs. How can his followers think that is safe and cute? Did any of these women every even think if he is pulled over and they find his guns or he threatens a police officer what would happen with the dogs? He has made his hatred for law enforcement well known. He has an extremely short temper, is ignorant and extremely cocky.
He does ask for money on his trips when he is looking for a free handout. It is all documented. Why would he have to ask these women on facebook to donate whatever they can to his paypal account to fix his car when he is charging already for all these poor dogs? Why would that thought even enter his mind? He then gets them to donate and announces that the money that was given to him exceeded the repair of his car and that with the extra money he was getting a hotel room for the night. Wouldn't the gentlemen thing to do is offer to return the money some how? It is unreal that women in this day and age would fall for such nonsense. He has posted pictures of himself and a woman he brought a small dog to recently who he had just met. He posed with this woman cheek to cheek and he looked completely wasted as he was saying his good byes the next morning. He posts this himself. He doesn't think twice to take up some of the women's offers to "bed down" at their house. This is not how a professional operates. Another safety issue to these women who only know this guy through his facebook page. With what he posts, his hatred towards women calling them filthy names as he is verbally attacking them and then blocking should be a red flag to anyone with half a brain cell. The filthy language he uses constantly and hatred for everything in general is not how a professional acts. He even threatens to eliminate a person without any problem is also documented. Mario Gandolfo is a loaded gun in more ways than one who has no business transporting. Where is his license and why doesn't he provide that number? He doesn't even provide a real address on his facebook page for his "transportation company." Unfounded Accusations

I have worked with Mario and Flying B Transport several times. In fact he brought my OWN rescued dog, a senior GSD to me from California all the way across the country. My dog arrived safe, healthy, and HAPPY. The trip was STRESS FREE for my dog. He came with 3 other GSDs and a pit bull, and everyone one of these dogs was happy and rested. For some reason, all the dogs that go with him always get along, even! My dog, who had been a stray, was underweight, and he actually put a little ON on the trip. In addition Mario fostered him for me for NOTHING for a couple of days prior to leaving. He even gave him a bath. He cares very much for these dogs, and is passionate about them. If they need vet care, he GOES to the vet with them. He will delay a trip if he needs to because of that. He does NOT charge $800 per dog. His price is $550 for a large dog.
I am not sure where these allegations are coming from, but don't believe them. This guy is a wonderful transporter. Since bringing me my dog, I have been involved in rescue, and have used Mario several times, with no incident, and with the same stellar service. He has made so many people happy. If you want your dog to have a stress free, safe, trip, with a guy that CARES about them, then use him.

All that matters is the dogs!

How Mario chooses to interact with people makes no difference to me, as long as the dogs arrive safely and with as little stress as possible. I have overseen the transport of dogs across the country three individual times, each time, pricing was consistent. With each transport I've received nothing but good reports from those receiving the dogs. In fact, those same people turn around and continue to recommend him to more and more people, hoping to watch another group of dogs travel across the country.
One of my dogs ended up sick during transport and he promptly called so that we could make the right plans for her. After assessing his location, the severity of the symptoms, it was determined the best course of action was to get the dog to her new owner as quickly as possible, who was already aware of the situation and ready to go straight to the vet. This dog is happy and healthy.
This report was written and perpetuated by someone who has never even used his service. Personally, I feel only those that have used his service should be allowed to submit a report to this site. This whole report is simply part of the continued vendetta and attack on someone's character. Enough is ENOUGH!!

I find it laughable that the link provided in another comment is not even a link from a government website, it's a website for Triangle Cross Ranch. It is obvious the link is in regards to transport of horses, and dogs hardly qualify as livestock!!

Personally I trust my animals instincts about people more than I trust the poster of this complaint. The way the pups I received from Mario just loved him and my own dogs that were in the car with me were drawn to him. If Mario was as bad as a person as is being claimed no way would all these dogs be giving him unconditional love. All you have to do is scroll thru his pictures and see animal after animal after animal loving this man. They say that mans best friend is the best judge of character there is, and I believe that!! How many of you have had a dog that just did NOT like someone and you later found out something bad about that person? How many of you have had a dog step in front of you to protect you without any seemingly reason? That is called instinct and they can sense the goodness in this man and that is enough for me to entrust him with a member of my family!!!!

Dogs are not secure, crated or in a harness

He lets them out of their crates during stops, as any animal-lover would, so that the animals can stretch, take care of their business outside, eat, drink, etc. Before he continues his trip, the animals are properly and safely crated. Any "co-pilot" animal is securely and safely harnessed.
If you go back to his page, you will see that there are have been times that the dogs are not crated during the entire trip and not just for potty breaks! He admits it and has even posted pictures.
Also, if he does in fact possess a USDA license to transport, then why doesn't he post it? I know why, because once again, it is a lie! You had better hope that he is not involved in an accident while on the road with all those loose dogs in that vehicle!
Yes, he keeps writing that so called poetry and posting flattering remarks to all the women so that they continue to send money. By the way, his service is not cheaper than flying and that too can be verified by visiting the United Pet Safe web site. You can ship a dog for less than Mario charges to drag them cross country for 5 or 6 days!

I have been monitoring both people concerned on Facebook for many months. I am not of the rescue world but am an observer of bizarre behavior and do have professional qualifications when it pertains to those with psychiatric issues or issues of addiction. I do know personally Mario's nemesis in a different arena for many years. She is none of the things Mario accuses her of. Mario has a pattern of whipping his fans into a frenzy right before he is looking to book(charge) for the quote "rescue from death row" of his fur babies. Even today twice in one day he posted about his nemesis. It seems he can't help himself. Over the past months his nemesis has never said what he claims she has said or done. I can see both of those concerned on their respective fb sites. Often I have seen very ugly things posted by Mario about people he has interacted with, aside from his nemesis,Things a rationale sane person wouldn't post. There was a post in rebuttal to the last person he was trashing not even his nemesis but someone he fabricated a connection to his nemesis and the person voiced what they thought of his rant was the next day edited out, as is his pattern. He often brags about his guns and his issues with law enforcement and it seems clear he has some very strong issues concerning his hatred of women. It's just so hard to believe so many people can fall hook line and sinker for his manipulative tactics. I no pun intended do not have a dog in this fight. I will tell you each time he accuses his nemesis of a slanderous posting it doesn't exist. He is manipulating you all into this fantasy he is painting for you of his heroic lifestyle. Poetry, braving the open road, narcissistic pictures included. I know all of you that support him are most likely great people who truly care for animals. He is clearly from my advantage point manipulating you all into supporting his cause, which is lining his pockets with your money under the guise of rescuing animals.. There is probably some part of him that cares for animals. It's just that he is so clearly a highly manipulative individual that has some significant issues and needs to whip up this drama to support this business of his of trucking fur freight. I just can't believe how so many do not see this predator for what he is. He so seems to have the angry loner with a gun mentality that its very concerning to me anyone that is exposed in any way to this Mario. I worry for his nemesis's safety. To me it seems along with his significant issues mentioned his failed career in acting has fueled his need for some kind of notoriety hence preying on his fans repeatedly to feel sympathy for him in his imaginary victimization by his nemesis. His landlord is bad ,the reason he needs eyeglasses is the stress from his nemesis. I checked he already played that story in August. See for yourself. My god folks there is a pattern his truck is empty his nemesis victimizes him and you all feel sorry for him. He is very good at this manipulation to the lay person but he sticks out like a red flag to someone who works with folks with his pathology. All I'm saying is beware. Be safe. Something isn't right in the equation and its not the fault of his nemesis. I wish you could see how fabricated his claims are about the slander. He whips it up himself to get your attention which is very good for his business. It's his marketing tool. It's so sad to see it because really its about volunteers rescuing animals right. At least that's what it seems like to an outsider. He is very angry so be careful and don't fall for his tactics. He isn't the noble person refusing your offers of help. He is conning you all. I could be wrong but when some thing smells funny you gotta wonder?

While I am all for people voicing their OPINIONS, the point where I get angry is when they spout off blatant lies. And after reading them, if you have any questions regarding Mario's methods or history, all you need to do is take a good hard look through his Facebook page. He has fully documented a good number of his transports, given explanations when needed, and proven his dedication to the business despite the headaches heaped upon him. During the time that I have known and dealt with Mario, his love for animals has been contagious. He has chosen to run a legitimate business in a profession with a surprising amount of back-stabbing and underhandedness (obviously). He has even gone above and beyond the "requirements" of his profession to obtain licensing to ensure safe and secure transports.
Like any responsible transporter, his animals ARE crated during transport when the vehicle is moving. He lets them out of their crates during stops, as any animal-lover would, so that the animals can stretch, take care of their business outside, eat, drink, etc. Before he continues his trip, the animals are properly and safely crated. Any "co-pilot" animal is securely and safely harnessed.
Mario is well aware of how many animals his transport vehicle can safely hold. When he posts about transports, he ALWAYS says "I have (x) space for large animals, and (x) space for small animals." If he does not have room for a particular animal during one transport, he arranges to transport that animal on a subsequent trip. If the animal is in some sort of imminent danger, Mario has a support system that will take the animal until such time that he can transport. No animal in his care has ever suffered negligence or mistreatment. In fact, he treats his transport animals much better than many people treat their fellow man.
If Mario can't locate enough transport animals to cover costs, he usually tries to re-schedule the trip to attempt to find additional transports. However, this man has been known to transport anyway, even if a trip costs money out of his own pocket. If the need is there, he truly comes through. Meaning he doesn't always make money on his trips. This is the risk one takes in the animal transport business, and Mario has accepted this as fact.
Mario's rates directly reflect the individual transport, distance, and any extra care needed. Most are FAR from the number quoted in this "complaint." His rates competitive to others, if not a bit low, and he will willingly go through the costs associated with said rates with any client. Given the extra attention, care, and concern he bestows on his clients and transports, everyone who uses him is getting a deal.
Mario is not only concerned about the animals he transports, but he is also concerned about those who have hired him. He consistently updates his clients on the status of their transports, sending photos, sending texts, making phone calls, and even posting on his Facebook page. He bends over backwards to truly help animals in need - and anyone who is reading this can see what he gets in return.
In the meantime, for those of you who are considering animal transport, I would HIGHLY recommend going to Mario directly and ignoring most others - especially those who have a hand in this bogus report. If you are not on the west coast, he may still be able to help, as he is always looking for "return" transports on long trips. If he can not transport himself, he can certainly refer you to a legitimate alternative who treats both animals, and their fellow man, with similar love and respect.

If you actually read the information correctly on the link you quoted it clearly states 'MOST' states require a health cert. It does not say all states.
I grew up in a military family and moved MANY times. The only time a health cert was required was when my parents moved to Okinawa (It's in Japan). I highly doubt an organization such as the United States Marine Corps would have let us get away w not having health certs if it was required. Furthermore earlier this year I had two of my dogs transported from VA to Texas and guess what, no health cert was required.
I would also like to say that whilst I am unashamedly a friend on both Mario's personal Facebook page and his transport page I am very definitely not a member of a club. Said club, which you claim people belong to doesn't even exist.

In January 2012, I was forced to File a CRIMINAL STALKING, HARRASSMENT and THREAT CASE against this individual with LAPD - he has continously STALKED, HARRASSED, and drew the line by posting a photo of himself on Facebook with a GUN and message for Me! A CRIMINAL trial will conclude this incident, as numerous other individuals he has done this to as well have stepped forward after also being threatened by him. He is nothing more than a bully who stalks, harrasses and preys on Women! There are countless dis-satisfied Customers of his who have been BLOCKED from posting their bad experiences with him; such as he has blocked others, including myself who cannot post documented facts to prove he is a pathalogical liar and sociopath!

I am however, very much aware of who I believe the dog referred to in this post is, that was pulled from Baldwin Park Shelter - her name was Missy, she was a 9 year old German Shepherd Dog with double pheumonia, Yes he did sign a medical waiver stating "she would go directly from the shelter to the vet" - but instead, he put this dog in his car at the shelter - for a 1500 mile journey (with no vet care) for his collected transport fee of $1,200.00 where SHE DIED 3 HOURS LATER! There was also a poodle in Carson Shelter with a broken pelvis and broken leg - for a few hundred dollars, he went to the shelter to adopt the dog since no "legitimate rescuer would pull the animal for Him", he managed to purchase or "create" a health certificate for the airlines to stuff that dog, with a broken pelvis and broken leg into a crate, placed it in the CARGO section of the airplane and flew the dog 5+ hours to people in New Jersey because they sounded nice over the telephone", and were willing TO DEPOSIT FUNDS INTO HIS PAYPAL ACCOUNT TO DO SO! These are only two of the dogs, yes there are others!
"IF" this individual, and "HIS BUSINESS" is Legitimate, then please ask WHY a BOGUS BUSINESS ADDRESS IS USED on his Facebook Business Page "Flying B Transport"? What "legitimate" business uses a NON EXISTENT BOGUS BUSINESS ADDRESS? I would also recommend that You contact USHIP and ask them "WHY he was removed from their List of Vendor Referrals". Don't take my word for it! He claims to live in West Hills California, the address on his business page is a NON EXISTENT ADDRESS - meaning it is BOGUS! Yet, he uses an address on a CT Drivers License as his residence, and drives a car registered in the State of CT, displaying CT License Plates. All funds paid to him for his services are sent to a pay pal account - Speaks volumes about "LEGITIMACY" and transparency right!?
In Addition - He has continously LIED about having any type of CRIMINAL RECORD; also stating "It was all made up to ruin his reputation by jealous bitches who were out to ruin him"; waa waa waa! The truth is, he does have a CRIMINAL RECORD and FBI FILE NUMBER! Anyone seeking LONG DISTANCE TRANSPORT, I would recommend using UNITED PETSAFE AIRWAYS, they are amazing, and relatively inexpensive. Compared to the risks, and prices charged by this individual, you can fly your animals to You with less stress and discomfort to them than cross country ground travel in a small (or large) vehicle!
In January 2012, I was forced to File a CRIMINAL STALKING, HARRASSMENT and THREAT CASE against this individual with LAPD - he has continously STALKED, HARRASSED, and drew the line by posting a photo of himself on Facebook with a GUN and message for Me! A CRIMINAL trial will conclude this incident, as numerous other individuals he has done this to as well have stepped forward after also being threatened by him. He is nothing more than a bully who stalks, harrasses and preys on Women! There are countless dis-satisfied Customers of his who have been BLOCKED from posting their bad experiences with him; such as he has blocked others, including myself who cannot post documented facts to prove he is a pathalogical liar and sociopath!

Please feel free to check his page and read the insults he hurls at those who disagree with him or dare to question him and his transports. For instance, now he is planning another coast to coast transport of 5- 6 Large Breed dogs and his vehicle is not the proper size to transport that many animals. There are issues of proper ventilation in the vehicle and there is absolutely no way to fit that many crates in that particular vehicle. Mario is rude and indignant towards anyone who dares to question him and recently had a run in with a rescue over a dog that they deemed him incompetent and unqualified to keep. He hurled obscenities at the woman and her rescue when in fact he did not have the means to care for this dog or his needs. The dog would have been nothing more than an advertising gimmick for him and he never considered the well being of the dog. This too is well documented! For all those in his "club" who have never used him to transport but worship the ground he walks on his transports are a disaster waiting to happen. Did any of you ever notice that nothing is ever Mario's fault? It's the rescues, the landlord, the other transport companies, UPS, the phone company and the list goes on and on and on. Mario is always the helpless victim. Pfffftttttt

I have no knowledge of any dog having died after being in Mario's care. My own dogs have stayed in his home until their transport, transported with health certificates, traveled in crates while taking turns being 'copilot' up front with Mario, and arrived clean, healthy, and well fed. I have myself watched Mario cleaning his dogs and crates while on a trip because they needed it, not because they were being delivered to someone right away. He has not asked for extra funds for any reason and has in fact applied my tips to other transports with him. What he has charged me (not $800--goodness!) has not changed on a whim and I have even gone through the steps of calculation with him so I know exactly how he arrives at the rates. I have used Mario's transportation service several times and have been happy each time. I will continue to use his services when it is appropriate on a case by case basis.

My name is Susan J. Hanson. I have read the 'report' and have several comments to make in relation to it.
In the course of my life I have come into contact w more than one unscrupulous individual however I can wholeheartedly say that Mario Gandolfo is definitely not one. He is w/out a shadow of a doubt one of the most honest, forthright and loyal people I know and he is someone who goes way past what is expected of a transporter.
W regard to the baseless accusation that he asked for people to pay his hotel bill and for repair to his vehicle. That is UNTRUE, what he in fact did was post that his transport was delayed due to a breakdown. This was done as he always does when updating people about his transport. He post the good AND the bad. At no time did I see he blatantly ask for people to pay.
I am personally mid way through setting up a sanctuary/rescue for Senior German Shepherd Dogs in Colorado. As most people are aware the seniors are generally the ones in need of the highest level of care as they are often infirm and not agile. Mario is the ONLY person who I would trust to transport these precious souls b/c I KNOW he would treat them w the most utmost of care and respect. I KNOW he would be constantly in contact w me regarding the transport and I KNOW he would update w photos along the way as well. How do I KNOW he would do these things? Simple b/c I have used him to transport a senior from CA all the way cross country to Maine and he did it w care, attention, respect for the animals under his care.
W regard to the comment about health certificates. It is NOT the responsibility for the transporter to arrange paperwork. That is the responsibility of the person organizing the transport. That being said Mario has in the past pointed out to me that not all animals being transported require certification.
W regard to the comment about Mario transporting a dog who is ill. Also not true. Sure from time to time during a transport an animal may become ill, in that instance Mario would (and has) sought medical attention if necessary. He has NEVER knowingly transported an animal as described in the 'report' and I have not heard of him dropping off a dog only for it to cross the bridge. I have known Mario to delay a transport b/c a dog under his care was not well and he was getting it the medical attention it needed. He did not leave until the dog was ok to travel.
The rates Mario charges are consistent w the cost of fuel required. If the transport is full then obviously blind freddy can see that the fees per animal would be cheaper as there are more people to divide the costs between.
I have only seen Mario call a couple of people names on his facebook and to be quite honest I believe it is well w/in the realms of reason for him to do so. These people have been harassing him for some time and it is only human nature to lash out from time to time as a kind of self preservation if someone is harassing you

I recently had a puppy transported to me from Mario's business and I could not be happier. He boarded the animal at his house while waiting for the rest of his transports to be ready and cared for her like she was his own. He never charged me for food or boarding and sent me pictures and videos of her playing with the rest of his charges. Seeing as this puppy was rescued as the truck was being loaded for the Devore shelter, and she was facing death, she now has the best possible life and its all because Mario cared enough to help me.
He even delayed the trip when he noticed one of the animals in his care needed vet care and took him to the vet himself to repair the botched neuter surgery the shelter had done on him!!! He charged me ONE price and it was the same price he quoted me based on my pups weight, and truthfully, I was glad she was not gonna be caged for the whole trip as I believe that adds more stress to an animal that has been caged in a shelter on death row!!
When he travels he sends texts from the road and pictures to the new owners of all the animals to include them in the trip so you know what is going on the whole time! He sleeps IN THE CAR with the animals and is with them the entire trip. This man truly cares with his whole heart and it shows by the care he gives the animals and the love they give him back! In fact he actually threatened me that if I didn't take care of my pup he was coming back to get her as he had fallen in love with her!!! He actually had tears in his eyes as he handed her over and kissed the top of her head good-bye. This is NOT the actions of the man this "person" in this complaint is trying to convey.
On another note. This last trip of Mario's was fraught with mishaps. A broken shift linkage and having to stay in a motel waiting for it to be fixed. I was also on his page as he was updating all his customers as to why they would be late getting their new babies. NOT ONCE did he ever ASK for money or contributions to help with the cost of fixing his car or his motel fee. People immediately asked him what did he need and what was his paypal account. Everything was FREELY donated and never once asked for!!! In fact he even asked once for people to stop donating as everything was taken care of and he expressed his most heartfelt thanks, and was most awed by the generosity of the people that wanted to help. The poster of this complaint just doesn't understand how people will come to the aid of good people doing good things!
If you read any of the posts about the animals looking for new homes and someone wants to adopt and they are in a different state or across the country, they are always told transports are available. 9 times out of 10, its Mario's name and company that is recommended first! Word of mouth is the best recommendation you can have! Not the post of one individual that has stated she will do what ever she can to ruin him.

Let me start by saying that Mario Gandolfo is one of the best pet transports I have ever seen,period!I am involved on a daily basis in the animal rescue world and I have never seen any issues at all with his service.He truly cares about the animals in his possession and goes way out of his way to make sure that they are taken care of and are comfortable.I would trust my dogs to him anytime!This lady has had a personal vendetta against Mr.Gandolfo only with the soul purpose of destroying a good thing!
I have personally witnessed her senseless attacks against him and they are childish and untrue to say the least.And trust me when I tell you,I would never put an animals life at risk that I worked so hard to save if I was not one hundred percent sure that Mario would take care of them!As a matter of fact,I would be extremely disappointed if anyone transported them other than Mario's Flyin B Transport service!I would just feel like they were not getting the best and that is what they deserve!

Every accusation in this made up farce is untrue and I have never transported nor will I ever transport a sick or dying animal..I run a legitimate Coast to coast animal transport service having transported hundreds of death row dogs out of Los Angeles California area and as of yet have not had one negative comment or remark made against me from any and all past clients..I have not had one instance or bad occurence while transporting my charges cross country as of yet and each run has gone smoothly.The person/s who wrote this rip off report against me has waged along with their animal rescue friends a smear campaign against not only myself but anyone who supports my transport business..Most animal transporters are NOT USDA licensed(which I am) and most do NOT require a health certificate for the animals to travel in their care, (I give the clients this option)If I deem an animal sick upon pick up they will not go on my transport vehicle,I will not put any of my other transports in danger of sickness..I do require all animals to have their current shots (which most all do as it is required by California law before they leave California animal shelters) unless the animal is released on a health waiver as in the animal has a prior injury before entering the animal shelter etc..and the essential shots are given most times.Everyone who has used me knows I go above and beyond any other transporter out there to provide the best possible care to the animals entrusted to me..I encourage anyone to go to my facebook transport page,scroll down to the recommendations section and please read past client reviews..I would also like to add that in some cases if the animal is light enough(I base my rates on size of animal and gas used), I will transport them for free.My clients speak for my transport business not the lies,venom and hate from a few Southern California rescue people such as you see here in the attack against myself, my character and my transport company..In closing my response to this completely false ripoff report against my transport company I would like to add I have never knowingly transported a sick or dying animal nor have I ever lost an animal entrusted in my care nor has any animal ever died in my care while transporting,also my transport prices are more than half off what you would normally pay if you were to fly the animal and with my service you get above and beyond personal care while in my possession,also you get real time text picture status reports while I am transporting on the road and I am accessible 24/7 while on the road.They will never stop me in their smear campaign against me and I will continue to save animals lives as long as I can.
