POSTED: Thursday, November 08, 2007All you have to do is send them a CEASE COMMUNICATIONS request as per the provisions of the FDCPA.
Send this by CERTIFIED MAIL, RRR, and be sure to put the cerified# on the letter itself as this proves exactly what you sent. Also clearly identify the number that they are calling you at. do not sign the letter, just print.
Now when they contact you again, you can sue them for up to $1000 for the violation, plus actual costs.
