Search TipsWhile I feel for you in this situation. The application, use, and allocation of the ValuCard's are not up to the employee's, the customer is 100% responsible for that issue. What happened to you is unfortunate but just simple go into the store, go the the front office and ask for a ValuCard application; simple as that!
A note to others that shop Food City! Please have your ValuCard re.ady for use before you approach the register, please have your method of payment ready as well. Do not hold up the line by making other customers and employees wait till you retrieve these items.
Thank you
About the privacy thing, when Im away from home, Ill just ask the person in front of me if I could borrow their card. I used to work for stores that dont allow their employees to use their own cards, they need to all fill one out, thats why Ill just ask the customer in front of me.

Instead, you automatically assumed it had to do with your race.
There is a grocery store where I live that sounds like it has something similar. I don't bother filling out the application because I rarely shop there. Maybe it's possible that he didn't want to bother you with details if you didn't appear to be interested in it.
